Said his goodbyes to Leuven and obviously had a work permit approved as he's been training with the first team.

I like what I've seen from him in Leuven. A useful addition to the squad.

his first name means ideal so i reckon hell be a great player.

in all seriousness, he will be a great addition, especially as an impact sub for now. very young too. only 19.

in all seriousness the lad looks rapid, and although the belgian league is not the pl he surely improved a lot there. leuven fans have said a lot of good things about him.

Who is this guy

Depends. If you ask @Ric Flair he's the second coming of Keith Weller and he's going to win us the league next year.

Otherwise he's an u23 we loaned to Belgium while he gets a work permit where he scored 8 and assisted 6 in 34 games for a mid table team in their top flight.

Not the most dazzling numbers but, tbf, more than Praet ever managed playing in the same position (mostly a central attacking midfielder) for a dominant Anderlecht.

Assuming we'd play him more out wide, I'll be surprised and disappointed if he's our best option to actually start next year but he's probably done enough to warrant a place in a squad whose best wide goal contributing options (beyond Barnes) are Perez and Albrighton.

If we're sticking with 3412, he could be backup to Madders maybe. Big step up though.

Same career path and goal contributions at his age as Trossard, who's gone on to be a decent PL player.

He's got a lot of improving to do but we need an impact player with pace in and around the squad next season as we've had nothing for months. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Mostly played as a winger this season for Leuven, but it will be his versatility and pace that will be a help to us.

I don’t think he is very likely to come in and be a first choice right winger for us, more likely he will come in and be a different option off the bench

Something we have missed this season is someone who can come on with 20 minutes left that can run at players, which is something he can offer

I'm sure Under would have something to say about that :D

He'll be an option in the squad, definitely not first choice but as ric said the Belgium league is decent and his contribution isn't to be sniffed at.

Perfect Sowah? Brilliant, I have a very expensive pair of bootleg cut jeans that I've refused to throw out for 10 years because of what they cost me, reckon he could alter them without it looking obvious?

He plants Camels mate. You’ve lost the thread.

Kind of player that if we got linked with; 8 goals and 6 assists, just turned 21, in his first season in the Belgian League, to come in as a backup player, we would probably be happy with signing

From those stats looks very comfortable on either side. Another versatile player in our ranks. Hopefully get to see what he's about next season.

Kamal leaves our club through the main gate. Thanks for all the great football moments and good luck

Kamal Sowah is ready for a new challenge after 3.5 seasons at OH Leuven. The 21-year-old Ghanaian went through an unlikely evolution during his period at Den Dreef.

Last season, Sowah was at the kick-off in every league game. The man with three lungs scored eight times and also delivered six assists. Together with Xavier Mercier and Thomas Henry, he was part of the deadly Leuven triangle.

Sowah donned the OH Leuven jersey 72 times and considers the time is right for the next step in his career. The club wishes Kamal the best of luck and thanks him for the many beautiful moments.

Have we ever had a player with three lungs?
