Championship is still exciting. Look how close the top 12 are, for example.

Only after the top 3.

8 points between 4th and 16th.

Hope it continues to be that tight, and the top 3 get reigned in a bit.

It's the gap between 4th and 16h which make the league exciting, always has been. Top two usually end up running away because they are that good, especially (obviously) the side who actually win the league.

Last season, for example, Norwich won it on 97 and Watford got 91 but Bourneouth (6th) only got 77.

I agree. It's consistently and regularly always unpredictable, at least when it comes to final 8-10 games around March/April time.

And there's always at least 1 team that bottles it or rises up unexpectedly.

As unlikely as it might be, but even Peterborough or Preston - given either get a good set of results over the next few games - can potentially be in a shout for competing close to the play-off places.

It seems like Nathan Jones is still doing a great job at Luton; a somewhat unfancied side.

Stoke City have announced their latest accounts... ouch indeed

The Brexity boneheads in Stoke will probably blame it on the EU

Just flicked over to Reading v Bournemouth and heard Danny Drinkwaters name. Had no idea he was playing Reading nowadays.

Has there ever been such a quick decline for a Premier league winner? 4 years ago playing in a champions league quarter final, now playing for a mid table championship team.

First home league win since January for Bristol City. Go on Nige!

6 points cover 15 clubs in the Championship (5th to 19th)

Hopefully now he goes on to win all the remaining home games. Imagine if he got them up somehow and then we played them at home next season wow.

Well worked out that if he gets them up we will play them at home next season.

I genuinely wouldn't know which side to cheer for

I reckon we'd be able to fill the ground twice with all the interest

Neil Warnock breaks the most games in EFL management today.

Despite the criticism of him, credit to him.

Outstanding achievement really considering how much football has changed.

He won't be a happy chap.

Boro were 1 up at half time and could have had a penalty.

Now find themselves 3-1 down!

The Championship table is quite something.

Hardly anything between the sides from 5th to 13th.

Even Preston in 18th are a couple of wins off pushing right up the table.

That league is tighter than my old flatmate from Aberdeenshire.
