Not allowed no. The driver we had for the FA Cup final however said he was OK with a couple of drinks though as long as you were sensible and placed empties into the bin bags. So in general it is against the law I believe but you may get lucky that a driver allows it.

I've had drivers in the past check through bags for alcohol.

Exactly, it's not worth the risk. It's a shame it is not allowed but I guess British football fans cannot be trusted (on the whole).

Just out of curiosity, what are peoples thoughts on Covid and the final in terms of risk / reward.

I really want to go however I had covid back around Christmas and my daughter (now 1) ended up quite ill and then there's obviously the worry of spreading it through the rest of your family.

I've had both jabs now, but am aware it can still be spread.

As much as I want to go, is it worth the risk as opposed to watching it at home without that worry?

Just interested from peoples views or any one with any idea how the England matches at Wembley or the FA Cup final effected them with Covid?

I've heard people say the biggest risk is the drinking in pubs beforehand?

Last week prevalence of COVID was as high as 1 in 75 and you should remember that lateral flow tests can miss a high proportion of cases who have mild symptoms. Being double jabbed is no guarantee of immunity either.

There was a spike in infections after the Euros

Ultimately there is going to be a risk and it is a matter of personal choice and circumstances. I agree that spending time on the tube or in pubs or for that matter in a queue in the concourses at half time are things to be careful about.

I will probably not bother getting my ticket yet.

Will wait and hope they make general sale. As I want tickets for my wife and son, we can all sit together then.

It covers both her and his birthday presents.!

In the queue with 3480 ahead of me, FFS!

It'll go down quick. It said an hour wait for me at 10am and now I'm down to 10 mins.

Same happened with the FA Cup final. I had a stupid number but ended up flying through.

Just a quick bit of help here. I'm a Fox member and since the Euro's my 12 year old son has become a football lover and wants to go to this game. I've made him a Junior Fox member and conjoined our rmembership/relationship on the members pages.

Can I quickly ask is it very straightforward to purchase mine and his ticket just on one transaction to be able to sit together?

Cheers

Looks like we might be getting there by fox travel, can anyone tell me if a few tinnies are allowed on the bus or is it a big no no?

It's illegal to possess alcohol, drink alcohol, or be drunk on a vehicle principally being used to convey passengers to a specific sporting event.

I'd imagine it's a big no no for Ausden Clarke and official foxes travel as both are big transport companies that could receive hefty fines from who ever actually polices it.

Ausden Clarke are good for getting you there a couple of hours before the game though so you can enjoy a few drinks.

I would say yes. It will be the same as with season tickets, if you have linked them you can buy them in one transaction and select the linked account.

Yes, if your accounts are linked you can select the two seats you want and buy them.

You could probably go ahead and click 4 seats but when you proceed to check out it will tell you that you are only entitled to the 2 as its one per membership.

Similar to me, though only had ten minute wait when I logged on.

That was stressful. Queued all patiently only to get 'cannot access server please try again later'. Then I pressed refresh and all was fine. Phew! Tried to get a Category A ticket and they kept getting gobbled up as I tried to put them in my basket, so had to get a ticket in an adjacent 'Category B' area. Right in line with corner flag. Hoping for a Daka knee slide right on front of it!

Yes me too

I got it too and pressed refresh which took me to the LCFC main page, pressed on tickets and can still get access to them.
