Seems the football league is cashing in on the Asian and North American market with the 5pm slot. I still prefer my 3pm Saturday games, remember those?

Ndidi hopefully, we started last season with a back four and Ndidi, imagining another season of 3atb is just horrible given how promising things were looking an hour ago.

Against anyone but Man City I would expect Ndidi in at CB and Soumaré in. I get the feeling that will be too attacking for Rodgers here and he will put Amartey in.

Its hard enough for the general public to get tickets for Saturday without linking to other people, now the websites down. Are the clowns at the ticket office trying to not sell them on purpose.

Amartey isn't ideal but other alternative is Benkovic, Nelson or playing a full back in a back 3. Man City likely to play without a recognised striker I'd imagine so hopefully with having Soumare and Ndidi in there we can stop the attacking midfielders getting on the ball in dangerous areas. Big worry with Amartey is him not watching runners from midfield. Ndidi can always drop back if we are struggling. 

 

Would prefer not to have Perez but his work rate probably gets him in ahead Maddison or by playing a striker from the right. We've countered against Man City well in the past so Vardy, Barnes are crucial. 

 

We will be negative and sit back I'm sure. But need to offer something or we are just waiting to be beaten like the league game at the KP.

....lack of personnel will determine that we will play a back four!!!

If not for the Fofana injury I would have believed we would have played with a back three but not having the Wing Backs pushed up, as we would now have had, the pace to counter with Barnes, Daka and Sowah

Man City can embarrass any side in world football on their day regardless, I'd rather we get to see how we approach the centre back situation in the build up to the season than go 3 at the back to be conservative and try to win. 

I’m basing it on what he has done every time he has faced Man City in the past without his first choice back 2 available

Driving down for this and booked a hotel a few tube stops from Wembley with free parking.

 

Me and the boy are going to the game, the Mrs and girl number 2 are having a day out in London.

 

She's made me promise to not get too drunk and not let the boy, 15, have many.

 

Promises are made to be broken, right? Or is that records?

 

Either way, I don't plan on being sober after 4pm.
