If he doesn't get a jail-term for either, then the justice system is definitely not fit for purpose.. There must be some truth somewhere against him. He needs all the luck he can get.

Agreed. Really competitive division this year. We’re well short currently, don’t have a senior full back on our books with 9 days until the season starts. :o

A Gillingham fan has been arrested for assaulting and allegedly racialy abusing Cohan Brammal from Lincoln.  

Lincoln walked off the pitch, the fan was identified by the players by the stewards and the match continued.

17 years old :yawn: He’s been absolutely superb in every pre-season game as well as Saturday. He’ll play for England that lad.

I remember when we signed Tunchev from CSKA Sofia and he played for us in league one before picking up a bad injury, we'd been used to solid and unspectcular defenders. All of a sudden we had someone at CB who was not only a very good defender, but was as good a footballer as any of the other lads on the pitch.

 

Hoepfully he stays fit all season for you, a player like that makes a huge difference to the team. Not only do they help spring quick attacks but they just help you keep the ball and dominate the opposition.

Would be happy for you and Ipswich to go up. Joined by Lincoln or Oxford ideally!

 

Would love to see Portsmouth stay in League 1 for as long as possible, and not a fan of Rotherham either, although expect one of those 2 if not both will go up this year.

 

Think it will end up like this:

2 Portsmouth

3 Ipswich

4 Sunderland (P)

5 Sheff Weds

On holiday this week. Supposed to be at a couple of gigs but both cancelled. Other than the snooker in Leicester there seems to be absolutely nothing on locally. 
 

Off to watch Burton v Sunderland tomorrow for something to do.
