Or do we just need another attacking player?

Absolutely, we have done since Mahrez left. We had absolutely no creativity back end of last season when Barnes was out and we were playing 3 at the back, a lot of assists were coming from long balls over the top.

Thought we'd nailed it last year with Under but obviously not.

Can't see us making top 4 without a decent option for both wings, obviously that's not the end of the world but progression, innit.

Do we need a secondary poll on the same topic is the better question.

Agree.

To be honest, even though ive not been a fan of 3 atb, doubling down on a 2 striker formation might not be the worst idea, maybe we just struggle with it because we dont have the right players as of yet, could also try a diamond as well.

We don’t need a ‘right winger’ in the traditional sense. We need a right sided attacker. We rarely play 4-4-2. We’re not Burnley

...we do play 4-14-1!!!

But like most thing playing a variation on a theme is now the norm, so a wide attacking player would suffice.

Can we add the option “A SWAT team to break all those continental wingers free from Ric’s basement”?

I did consider it. If anyone feels we need another thread on a right winger feel free.

Now this is the real quiz. Rodgers even says himself we don't play with wingers.

....Daka is said to be better in a two and so is Nacho!!!

Vardy can play as a Lone Striker, but just need to start trusting himself more. A bit of self doubt in his game at the moment, when he shoots where he could take that extra touch and does believe he can score the impossible goal, when there is everything against him doing so.

....you can't do that, that is his nest egg!!!

Why do you think Under looked in that state in his photograph when he signed. Caglar and his mates managed to get him out, unbeknown to Ric @UHDrivehas the blue prints for his basement.

Not seen anything of Daniel James recently.......you don't suppose do you....??

Left footed Right side Attacker. Kind of like what is a Liberal now and 30 years ago. In the end it all comes down to players and the skills they possess in relation to how we want to play the game.

Or should we have another thread to have a poll on the favoured poll:P

Hardly anybody plays wingers as such these days , touchline hugging wide men are virtually obsolete . Attackers who can play wide when needed depending on the opposition strengths are much more common , Mbappe and Neymar do that for PSG and Mané and Salah for Liverpool for example but they are not true wingers as seen 40 years ago.We have been transfixed by Mahrez who usually stayed very wide but he is an exception to normal practise these days. Fullbacks  are now expected to attack and they are the real wide players . Castagne, Thomas, Pereira , Justin and Bertrand are all attacking full backs so they will continue to give us most of the width we require.
