weller54 Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 How do we see this panning out? A good test for sure. Kasper and Castagne back? Will BR play Perez??
phoneticerror Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 Hoping Kasper is back to warm up for Saturday. We’ve been weaker without him for sure. 1
Winsum Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 Think Perez will feature , he needs the game time. Can’t see Schmeichel or Castagne featuring . Going to be another game where there will be wholesale substitutions , with another game three days later then the manager has no other options
An Sionnach Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 He will start what he sees as his strongest available team , then we shall see. Maddison should be back.
adejo92 Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 I think we'll see a completely different performance than we have done so far in Pre-Season. I'd like to see BR start with what he see's as our strongest team / formation but there's always the fact that we have the Community Shield 3 days after which may be the only thing that effects who plays. Wouldn't be surprised to see Barnes have a little run in and then start on Saturday and also wondering if Maddison will be allowed more time with his new born and then come back into the team for Saturday also. What ever the set up, i am convinced we will beat these on Wednesday night.
RowlattsFox Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 Hopefully an hour for Barnes so he can start on Saturday. Surely Danny Ward is back? Not seen him on any of the pics but surely he was back before the Belgians? Kasper is probably back in training today, but don't think we will see him until the weekend at least. Hopefully Maddison is ok to play as he needs the minutes.

HybridFox Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 Anyone know what the attendance is looking like? Seemed to be plenty of tickets still when I checked the other day

Rodgers did this last season and it was a gigantic mistake, which made little sense and there was a much better option that could have been implemented at the time. If we are to play a back three, we need the right players in their right positions. Playing Albrighton as a Wing back is asking for trouble and we still have not worked out how to cover the open spaces vacated by the Wing Backs when they are pushed up. Keep the back four and work with the partnership of Soyuncu and Fofana, it will not get better if we continue to avoid pairing the two. 2 4
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 I'm hoping this is going to be an enjoyable ebening.
brucey Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 Possibly an unchanged team according to the bibs in training pics Kasp/Ward Ricky Cags Fofana Bertrand Youri Wilf Soumare Perez Vards Barnes 1
justfoxes Posted 2 August 2021 Posted 2 August 2021 (edited) Really looking forward in going back to the KP after so long away it’s been far too long, taking a good mate with me trying to convert him into a Fox! Hoping it’s a great game be good to see Vicente back at the KP I’m sure he’ll get a great welcome back and this will be Brendans last chance “ I’m sure it’s given him a hell of a headache to choose “ to pick his starting squad for Wembley Saturday I’m sure they’ll be some top performers vying for a Wembley starting 11. Perez!! Surely surely not? If he plays then there is no doubt he has some serious evidence that BR's has had an illicit affair with an underage sheep or something!! 1
