It was absolutely ridiculous, I know we have achieved so much more since but in that moment when Whitlow powered down the left and the whole pull back to Thompson happened, to this day nothing has come close to that one off feeling

I KNEW we were going to win when that goal went in, we all did.

Didn't quite work out though!

I started a job a couple of years ago and became mates with my boss. Turns out he's a Swindon fan and he was there that day too.

I said I'd let him have that moment, because we've done alright since.

He couldn't really disagree lol

Top bloke though. I've just got a new job today. He's starting at the same place in a couple of weeks as my boss again.

He might have majorly recommended me for the position!

It's worth him reminding me of losing 4-3 to them, especially when all I now need to do is raise an eyebrow at him and he thinks..."Fvck, they've won the league and cup, I can't really say anything" lol

Remember the carnage after we made it 3-3

Arguably still the greatest moment of my life. I had to run in to the concourse and throw up over a balcony.

Would have been the mother of all comebacks.

Still to this day, the only side to be 3 down at Wembley and equalise.

But, had we won, would we be where we are now?

Possibly. We might have won the Champions League lol

Rather not risk it though.

Wouldn’t have beat derby the following year had we won. Every cloud and all that…

Worked out alright didn't it?

The biggest heartbreak I've ever known in my life was the Knockaert penalty.

Still can't watch it on TV, genuinely, it's gut wrenching.

But was it the catalyst for where we are now?

Of course it was.

Best missed penalty ever.

Still hurts though lol

That’s true, I’ve never watched it since either, yet it was the catalyst for everything that followed.

So with our logic and how things have worked out, we can agree on one thing...

Kermo was decent lol

Had he buried that penalty in the shoot out, we could be in League 2 now!

So many sliding doors moments.

Nope. The catalyst was Wayne “I’m not a racist, but…” Brown (ironic name) inviting everyone to his National Front Disco.

Turning point was definitely Hartlepools away.

Let's try and get a old school feel to Saturday, our ends at Wembley used to be a thing of beauty.

I've still got a few blue and white balloons left over from Villa away, so will take mine and dish out in the ground/pub.

This is the photo i took as the players came out for the city v swindon play off final 1993.

I think people will probably moan about doing this these days.

We took our 3 year old son to this match, he spent the whole time picking up balloons and pieces of paper! Which let us watch the match ❤️

I love the balloons but I think they're an environmental nightmare now.

There must be an eco version out there..?

We aren’t West Ham.
