goes from something very tidy to miscontrolling a ball 20 yards

But I think ultimately he does one or two of these comedy things every couple of games and they're all anyone remembers and they just pile on him and ignore everything else he does in a match which might have value.

I'm going to regret saying this now because, you watch, he'll have an absolute stinker haha. But watch him tonight. Spend as much of the game as you can just watching Daka and pay attention to some of the nuance of what he does. He contributes quite a lot of little bits of play that go completely unnoticed the second he slices one pass in to touch or miscontrols the ball in a funny way.

He's created some of our better opportunities of the season too, James' goal against Wrexham was like the first good chance we'd created all season

He scores, runs his little socks off, gets some confidence........and then gets dropped for a lump of poo

Let's be honest he's not exactly prolific, he'll run yes but you're making it sound like Vardys been dropped.

Treated like total shite yet again.

Whatever people make of him, every manager treats him like shite.

I just don't get it.

Yep averages a goal once every 9 games. It's baffling he don't start every game

Talking of nothing, you were my favourite black player as a kid. You used to fascinate me. Thought it was so cool we had a black player back then, despite you never being in the first team

He was my favourite player as a 6 year old simply because he had a cool name.He did play a few first team games.

Score goals. Often.

But look at the alternative at the moment, yes he’s not worth what we paid etc., but he offers miles more in general than Ayew does. Ayew also does not score regularly, does not press, doesn’t like to carry or pass it forward, poor first touch, he doesn’t get in the box… he isn’t a striker.

Then you get a striker in that does his job of scoring

Well let’s make a link here. He has scored a couple in recent games including the last game and gets dropped.

Do you think getting dropped after scoring is a way to help any striker become prolific?

I'm not sure John that why I couldn't manage LCFC, but I do know squad rotation is very important and you have to be something very special, ie Vardy, to be a obtain the can't do without title. Actually love Daka's work rate and the way he stretches the game but can't do without doesn't apply to him. For me anyway.

The shot from outside the area was typical Patson, it tickled me, which is funnily enough what he did to the ball!

That was hilarious.

I mean, it's not.. based on his wages, but you have to find humour in it lol

Like someone who has never played the game before.

Squad rotation is fine. I thought Rowetthad messed up with the selection of Reid and Ayew but fortunately it worked, even though Ayew was a waste of space still.

But it was just the point that commenting that Daka is not prolific whilst the conversation is about him being dropped after a good game and a goal last time out is part of the problem. He’s not exactly been overplayed this season so not sure leaving him out last night was necessary. Honestly he probably would be able to play 2 90’s a week as he at least had fitness and energy that a lot of them lack. His confidence has clearly been destroyed for quite some time now to the point where even though we have seen him for 4 and a half years now, do we actually know how good/bad/awful he really is?

Yes It was hilarious, but only because we were 2 up.

To put It politely, he's not even good enough in the mediocre Championship. His presence in the team is living proof of the recruitment and financial mess of the last 5 years

I defended Slimani as he at least scored important goals in 2016/17.

And Akinbiyi wasn't here all that long.

Considering those and how long he's been here Daka has to be strongly considered our worst striker.
