So Brendan has come out and confirmed he loves it at the club and is fully committed to the cause. Great news in my opinion. Yes results and performances haven’t been good of late, but this has been hugely impacted by the serious injuries to Evans, Fofana, Justin and Ricardo. Take those 4 out of any squad in the premiership and they would dip in form. It doesn’t take a rocket science to work out with those players missing, we will be weaker at the back and opposition mangers will easily pick off the weak links coming in to replace them (big Jan and Dan) as Dyche did when Burnley came to town.

Anyway, its time we come together as one and support Brendan and the team. Get the KP rocking today and show Brendan that we appreciate his comments from yesterday and we are fully behind him and the team, as he is with us.

We have been spoilt of late with the Premiership title, FA Cup, Community Shield and now things have taken a slight dip, we should continue the levels of support we showed back then.

By giving that extra from the sidelines it has a massive impact on the players too. Cags needs it right now as does Maddison.

I’ve seen comments this week of the disharmony at the club. I couldn’t care less if the admin team have been told to work harder by their CEO. We can’t impact that. Can we impact the players on the pitch? Yes we can.

So let’s play our part in getting the season on track. Starting today. We have so much to look forward too, players coming back, a possible long European tour, a push up the league moving forwards rather than looking over our shoulders like the previous 2 seasons, stadium expansion etc

Enjoy the game, be positive and let’s get at this bang average United team.

Brendan Rodgers Blue & White Army

Quick point of order:

The Premiership is in Scotland and rugger. It's been the Premier League in England since about 2007.

I shan't be singing, I'll be sitting on my sofa with everything crossable crossed and the TV remote far enough away to stop me hurling it across the living room.

Whilst some of you will be enjoying prematch beers, I'll be raking chestnuts and generally tidying the garden. It's a tough life.

Actually, there's a rally going on around my house today (almost literally) so I shall amuse myself much of the day by watching cars hurl themselves around the bends.

I do miss the prematch beers and buzz though. COYB!

Probably want to tell 50% of tv pundits and managers that. It is minor but it drives me mad

I'm just playing devil's advocate here as I naturally feel like I want to agree with you, however...

The cold harsh reality is that this will go out the window if we play poorly and Brendan is hell bent on playing to our weaknesses.

We have a dodgy defence at the moment right? Well I can't see everyone politely clapping as we invite a Utd press whilst Kasper and the boys are playing it around like a hot coal where the inevitable mistake will occur possibly leading to a needless goal.

I also can see the same old story of "in hindsight" saying after the match that we showed them too much respect and only played well after conceding.

The thing is, this isn't hindsight!

Play to our strengths, make the right subs at the right time and still lose I'd imagine the majority of people would respect that.

Problem is that hasn't been happening so I feel your post, which again, I respect, is perhaps a little naive...

You're not in Angouleme by any chance?  I know they have a rally around the streets at this time of year.

I think the atmosphere will be decent today.

Usually is in games like this because people are up for it plus they will bring 3000 and won't stop singing.

No, no, that one's hugely popular. Grand stand type seating etc. This is just a local rally. That said, the spectators are startng to gather, parking outside my house etc.

Yeah their fans should help liven ours up, if they don’t it’s a shambles.
