Best performance so far this season, I was worried we were going to throw it away when soup kitchen equalised but that didnt last long thanks to JV :scarf:

I'm away for the weekend. Went into the pub to watch sky sports with the scores coming in and notice this guy watching the match on a steam on his lap top.

Quick chat with him about the match and he says they're all over us, ripping us apart, asked him who he meant as us and he said man u, great I said. Fetched a pint and conveniently sat on the table next to him. Fair play to him he unplugged his earphones and turned it round so we could both watch it together.

Though he did jokingly go to slam the laptop shut at 3-2 lol

Great performance from us. Looked much like our old selves, sharp, quick, good pressing and plenty of chances. Hopefully it's thre start of things to come.

Best we've played for quite a while. Evans is the key for us as the other players have so much more confidence when he's playing. Soyuncu and Tielemans were better than they have played all season and I feel this is largely down to Evans. He controls the defence and the way he sprays passes out to the wings is magnificent and massively helps us build attacks. Great that Vardy continues his goalscoring form (even if he's joining Newcastle in Jan 🤣🤣🤣🤣), and great for Daka to get his first goal. Daka and Perez made a real impact off the bench and we scored 4 without even using Barnes or Lookman.

Aside from our great performance and win, United are genuinely the worst team we've played this season. Their midfield and defence is non existent and they are relying on their attacking talents plus De Gea to dig them out every week. Maguire put in one of the worst defensive performances I've seen for a while (exception being Danny Rose today). Dont even get me started on Pogba, the most over rated player in world football.

A couple of things from me, great performance. Just what we've been asking for. Brendan mentioned in the interview after the game that there were no boos at the end today, maybe he has had a rethink due to the obvious displeasure shown by the fans (I hope that's the case and he learns from it).

Also, I haven't seen it mentioned that this win puts us only 3 points behind MU and that's after our poor start.

Up the blues

But according to this forum MU are Not a Bench Mark worth following....

Our best player today was HARRY

but how much better do we play when EVANS plays , YOURI and soumare were great today , cags was so much better with evans beside him big Dan played well too . And the front two terrorised there back line , good to see us back in form .
big difference today was we played forward so much more , please Brendan no more playing back and across , keep the attacking game going

I'm still yet to see a game where Jadon Sancho has impressed me. Admittedly I don't watch the bundesliga  but for England and United he looks a complete myth

Too early.!    Plus Internationally there is Never been a winger or wide player that England have managed to Mesh into the team...

If Ronaldo or other Great W.Class players had been English, they would of turned out as unforgettables...

Pep, has got the best out of Sterling & done well with Mahrez

I am a BvB fan, Sancho is a Player IMO you Dont try too change but to hone his present Natural skills...Keep him and nuture him as a wide player,

and Let him Take on players, right to the goal-line, or Cutting in.....even if he occasionally loses it, or comes to nothing...

Has the move come for him too soon though?

You know what the English press are like. He was tearing it up in the Bundesliga

The last 18 months.

Going from golden boy to having Dean Henderson challenge him for number 1.

He's always got a mistake waiting to happen.

So hot and cold.

In 67 years cant remember One GK World wide who didnt....

Lazy Drop of a comment..

I watched Evans closely today, to see how he is influencing Cags, and you can see him using his hands telling him to come closer or go wider.  It was quite interesting to see. Not just Cags though, there was one point where he had the ball at his feet and pointed to the space for Soumare to go into, the United player followed Soumare, and opened up the space for Evans to pass a ball through the lines to Tielemans. He is a highly intelligent footballer, and a fantastic organiser.

Would be an incredible manager.

But this is the Time Big Teams go for players, he has to learn to become a Manutd player.

Look what manutd did for Ronaldo...Plus others.

He s still a young player....only just starting out into that " Next Phase & Step up period"

One takes & hopes that Essence of thought, then it should make Posters understand that chasm that is  being a consistent Top 4, to a competitive

Also ran....we & Fellow Challenges cant afford to lose 1-2 Quality players, the traditional Big 6, can carry such a loss of an Evans/a.n.other Kind of player

No keeper is infallible, but De Gea has been poor.

I'd prefer to say indifferent, & inconsistent, Bit even then pulled off some worldies...

Its easy to point out Lack of form, but hard & an easy-weakness to Lack willigness to Notice the less but still game Saving moments...Especially in GKs

The modern fan seems the need to Grind & Chew a bone, on players mistakes to prove some point that this or that players isnt so good..

I have seen G.Banks,B.Moore,Ronaldo,Pele,  Kahn,Beckenbauer  & J.Vardy have periods of avg to crap form...

One reason I believe Football-forums go OTT & in TILT-mode, when concentrating Too much on the mistakes & negatives & cant Let it go....

De Gea, still One of the top GKs in Europe, over the last few years....the Outfield players in Front of him,can Cock up a Thousand times,

A GK makes the odd bumble, ...He becomes useless & crap according to the modern Fan...I

It Never changes...you prove yourself over more seasons....

Form is temporary, Class is permanent..

A classic Leicester game of typical emotional proportions.

Equalise, score ahead, equalised against, go on to win the game by two goals.

This is how we do...which is always the key defence against "poor runs of form" that we've had (sort of)

The team clicked and looked every bit of potential that was there at the start of the season, that was a top 4 team on display.

I won't get particularly used to that formation, because of crucial rotation, but it really did work well yesterday and does look a great option with or without injuries, even JJ could slot into that back 3 if and when required. The whole configuration brought out the best of every player and the subs worked seamlessly too.

Soumare's progress continues to head in the right direction, each game he plays he appears to play with a new update.

As the saying goes, "when Youri plays like that, we win", true, but he's not exactly had such equal performances around him for a while, so yesterday wasn't all about Youri, but that was a special goal and then almost copied by Vardy who looks like an ageing rock star that doesn't care about relevance, but is is just playing great music, an actual legend.

The love for Maddison has re-appeared as well, which is nice.

What makes this so much more of a satisfying win is the fact that it's Man U. They are the most elitist and delusional fans. Saying things like 'none of these Leicester players would get into our side', 'we should be beating these lower teams' and simply saying they were poor and not 1 person saying we were good (red cafe) just makes the victory even sweeter. Manure fans are by far the most annoying and hated fans IMO.
