There was an absolute tool near me who threw his clapper of which the corner of it hit a young kid about 6 rows down on the back of the head because the ref didn’t give a corner.

Love Perez celebrating the Vardy goal, full on knee slide in the corner for someone else's goal. Epic!

 

That goal is seriously good too. Great ball from Evans, good touch on by Castagne taking a hit in the process, lovely patience and cross from Perez and a ridiculous finish from Vardy. All within 15 seconds of Utd equalising. Just perfect.

There is a small part of me that thinks Tielemans is trying to dink it to the far post  a move he tries quite often. I don't if it's just the slight delayed reaction to it going in before he celebrates.

Entirely possible!  I certainly wasn't 100% sure it was intended as a shot  but, whatever, as I said in the match thread, benefit of the doubt. It went in, that's mostly that I care about!

 

He actually did it again (shot or cross, methinks cross) later in the match for Castagne coming in on the far post.

I'm a big lump boxed a bit, played rugby at school etc but if one of those clappers hits you on a downward trajectory on the back of the head it really fuching hurts!! Quite dangerous to be throwing them with kids about.

So many similarities to the 5-3....big name Utd stars....poor Utd defending....Vardy scores.....Leicester striker gets his first prem goal (Vardy then - Daka now) talisman midfielder scores....2 goal margin...list goes on....even the free kick Vardy won at the end against Wan Bissaka reminded me of the penalty foul he won against Rafael in 2014...spooky

The tunnel cam is a good watch...highlights include at 9.06 Kasper having a go at the ref saying he is waiting for the ref to give us a cheap yellow card but won't give Matic one! Also at the end nice to see Justin and Fofana giving their congratulations.

It wasn't a standing ovation for Rashford but there was definitely a decent round of applause.

 

The let the country down stuff is small time but the booing when he got the ball is nothing major, several of their players had it. Part of the game.

There is also a small part of me that thinks vardy miss hit the third it looks like a he got a bit of shin on it on one of the replays and even though it's hit hard it has a bit of back spin on it. Either way 2 great goals.

People singing "you let your country down" to Rashford are the ones HE is probably helping out and I'd love to know what THEY have done for their country.

That cam is good .I happen to think the disciplne of suit and tie gives a sense of occasion to the players.Madders even looked smart , Did anyone spot when he said to ref 'make sure its ten ' on one of the free kicks .No please

Their rendition of ‘ole’s at the wheel’ after they scored the first was pretty impressive but it went on too long and the empty seats over there  after Daka’s goal made it all the more sweet …..

Found it telling Ole made a very pointed walk over to their support at the final whistle. I think he knows how a little display like that can help keep fan opinion positive of him.

It's like he's indirectly talking to the ref about it, making sure he hears it.

To be honest I think an awful lot of goals that are seen as brilliant are as much luck as anything. Greenwood’s goal was spectacular but he tried similar at least twice after that and got nowhere near. His goal was hit with the outside of his foot, bent away from Kasper and went in off the post. Striking a ball in this way gets loads of power but sometimes not so much control. In golfing terms, the difference between a fade and a slice.

Enjoying it, noticing some new things like Sancho did actually play.  And it really was all at that tempo, I'm knackered just watching it, how on earth Vardy sees out 95 mins (Red Bull?) when younger players need subbing??

 

A show-reel of Harry Maguire's contributions to the match will be shown on the comedy channel later 

 

And some of our attacking moves belong on the porn channels (if indeed there are such things, I wouldn't really know about that...)
