We were superb, every single player worked hard to keep United under pressure and to create chances. It would be unfair to single out anyone as our man of the match. United carried some degree of threat when they attacked early on, but we prevented them from doing it too often and their superstars were made to look ordinary. Greenwood's goal was brilliant, tbf. Defensively, they looked fragile right from our first attack. Our fans may have played a part in unsettling Maguire, and he was truly shocking, a constant liability.

I'm a bit gutted it's Brentford next. That's gonna be such a different test and the kind that we've struggled against at times. Could've done with an Arsenal or Spurs next week really

I think they are the perfect team to play, they'll be coming at us and we'll have to keep the positive style seen today.

They non stop press though. I reckon they'll force us into errors

I think we'll pick them off like we did Leeds at Elland Rd last season.

Awesome performance and the atmosphere was so much better today too,  Even when we weren't winning the noise was a great - OK probably because of the catchy 'F*** off Maquire' chant that literally everyone in the stadium got behind...I almost 'almost' felt for the guy...   Superb.

Hope you're right.

To be fair we should just enjoy what happened today! Not sure where it came from but what a superb performance!

Injured isn't he?

Allow him proper recovery if Soumare is doing the biz, we'll need a replacement when Ndidi heads to African cup of nations anyway.

A couple of things from me, great performance. Just what we've been asking for. Brendan mentioned in the interview after the game that there were no boos at the end today, maybe he has had a rethink due to the obvious displeasure shown by the fans (I hope that's the case and he learns from it).

Also, I haven't seen it mentioned that this win puts us only 3 points behind MU and that's after our poor start.

What a game.

Excellent stuff, amazing what can happen when you're positive actually go forward and attack isn't it.

Take nothing away from us we were spot on our game but Man Utd we're doggo.

I thought it was going to finish 1-1 and even then my comments would have been the same, we were good, it was exciting, it was entertaining, to get a great win with it top the day off!

Why did it take the referee take so long to book Pogba? By the time he plucked up enough courage and show him a yellow card he shouldn't have been on the pitch given the challenges he'd dished out before. Very poor form from the ref.

I remember watching Yakubu let Hoolahan drop a yard off him and nod in from a corner and I thought that was awful defending. This is one of the most expensive defenders in the world. Incredible.

A lot of love for Maguire on Red Cafe tonight as you'd expect lol

To be fair, that would be unacceptable at staff 5-a-side on a Friday night

I just can't fathom what he's doing or what's going through his mind lol
