Don't think so, they're playing the football he is coaching them to play.

THIS...We have so many good players, but the Management is too rigid.

Many apologies if done before but was wondering if it’s the case that the players are ‘playing to get rid of him’.  Never known a time when I have so not

enjoyed watching City play - wouldn’t mind if they tried their best and lost.

Take it you weren't watching us between 2004-2009

We've been in far worse predicaments.

I really can't buy that this is the worst people have ever seen us.

I don't think they have, but potentially could the way we're going. I think they still want to play for him otherwise we'd be far worse off than we are now.

I guess it's relative. The Peter Taylor/Craig Levein days were obviously much worse buy there was very little expectation due to the personnel. The players we have at our disposal should be producing far better results.  We've seen how capable they are.

We somehow play a  negative brand of football whilst also shipping a shed load goals. It's amazing really

In some aspects, yes. They must be trying something in training in terms of defending set-pieces but nothing changes in the game.

In others, no. I think the comments recently have given them a get out for losing games. He seems like a perfect manager to play for- little pressure to keep going above and beyond.

You really can’t have been watching us long then

How do you figure this? He says we played well first half and not the second half. He tried to make changes. The players we had on the pitch the first half were more than capable to win the game. It was like 2 different teams. There are a few players that are just really letting everyone down. Barnes, Ndidi, Lookman, Cags, Kasper etc

I think collectively there's a lot of frustration and confidence is low but they're professionals with big ego's, reputations and international aspirations.

I don't think for one minute they've downed tools to actively get rid of him. Nonsense IMO

Well they did for Claudio.

Maybe it's more of the case that Brendan isn't playing the players in their favored positions which may be confusing them and their team mates which is resulting in lack of coordination in the midfield and defense, where certain players are being made to do different duties because others aren't doing their bit.

Afraid so been watching since Bryan Hamilton so I should have rephrased that

Then you've definitely seen far far worse....watch the odd Championship match and you'll remind yourself how bad it can get

No doubt we'll see accusations of 'player power' again in coming weeks if that's the case though.

Don't how you can look at the first half to say Barne's let us down.....so what did he tell him second half?

Only Lookman for me (prefers playing on the left.) Tbf he also pushed Daka out there when he hooked off Lookman and that meant he was definitely playing out of position too!

Can’t deny that part of me is starting to think this. If this is the case then it only ends one way…

If I am Top then that's unacceptable

I'd be thinking about moving players on then because this wouldn't be the first time players when faced with hardship have downed tools to get a manager sacked to pass the blame

rodgers may have his faults but he has delivered fifth twice and a facup, if there not listening to him I doubt they listen to a manager much better.

Not after the performance they put in the first half (goal conceded aside), which was the best we've played in a long time.

there is some truth in that elements against watford and first half showed the lads are still capable of it

But he needs to get senior players on side, if there wavering we know how big a effect a Vardy,Kasper has on that dressing room they have semi kept and got managers fired with there infulence I think in the past.

Well to be honest if they wanted Rodgers gone they would have gone straight to TOP and told him straight "it wasn't working" as we seen with them do before with both Claudio and Puel.
