Don’t think he put a foot wrong, surprised he’s fell under the radar didn’t look out of place at all for an entire half.

I said in the rating thread... defensively he will need to be much more solid if he is going to get a loan opportunity in the lower leagues.

He was floating about a little. Obviously showed he used talent but if he is going to be a cm he needs to put a foot in

He isn’t much an all rounder or defensive midfielder

More of a 10/creative midfielder who actually also plays right wing

Best way to endear yourself to the fans. Drive it forward and take a shot on. I feel a lot less nervous seeing these youngsters today!

Great bit of footwork to get to that point of shooting as well

Wanya Marca is a creative midfielder, but it was quite telling that Rodgers bringing him on as the first sub is likely because he considers him the player most ready to make the step up, prior to his injury and our huge injury problems, he was the one being named on the bench. Braybrooke's skill set would probably have suited that deep lying central midfield role better but we had an interchangeable system going on yesterday and Brunt was very key to that.

Solid from Wanya though, looks another promising player. He was mulling over leaving us last summer as his contract was up but we promised him a pathway and I suspect he'll get a loan move this month, or next season.

Marcal-Madivadua?

I think we should get working on his song now - just in case he breaks through in a couple of years time

Is this the lad who’s got a brother a couple of years younger in the academy too?

Correct, two younger brothers in our academy. Although one went on trial to West Ham in the summer so not sure if he's moved on.

His stature, build and haircut are the definition of a midfield general. I like him.

I really like the look of this lad. Low centre of gravity, already pretty stocky, good quick feet and daily agile. If we play our cards right, we could have some pretty good talent on our hands.

I was impressed with his positional awareness, and there was something Kante-ish about the way he runs with the ball.

If he was playing in the Belgian League , he would be in a senior team and some on here would be saying get him for 20 million. The young players at our club are massively underated by many on this forum. They are professional footballers, of course they can play.
