Bizarre how they got to the price brighton would accept for Cucurella pretty quick yet we’ve had 3 weeks of this now. Not really relevant but Chelsea would have bough Fofana in the next window if we hadn’t have signed him already as he was firmly on their radar

He wasn’t in our top 5 targets that window but other deals fell by the wayside so he was signed. He was only lower down the list due to price rather than ability but in the end our hand was forced as he became available when others didn’t

And what's to say we haven't told them that? Our position is been outright from the beginning. It's only when Rodgers opens his trap to waste three minutes in his pre-match conferences, it becomes a thing again.
