Havent we said we would entertain an offer if it was a record fee? Or was that just journalist speculation?

I thought that was just journalist speculation I'm not sure the club have actually said anything other than Rodgers saying not for sale a couple of times

The team Chelsea put out at the weekend was shocking adding Gordon to that and even if they get  fofana they have spend a fortune to be miles worse than they were last season.

I don't think Leicester will fold under pressure from Chelsea. His value is only going up.

My concern is that we invest well. By that I mean don't listen to Rodgers !!

Inflation due to hit 18% next year...so hold on, he's a good investment for us.

I'd be insulted if I were Wesley. £62m for Cucurella and £60m for Gordon, yet Wes is effectively worth no more? Offensive from Chelsea who clearly don't really rate him that much 🙁😪😪😪

I think that Chelsea do rate him but have probably been taken-aback by the brick wall negotiators of King Power. Playing a blinder so far.

A particular special bunch of morons, these Chelsea fans, ain’t they!

Yes. Their football twitter is disgusting in the main and completely arrogant. Had them on strings for two years or so. Entitled bunch of weird kids

Do Chelsea not understand Fofana has signed a 5 year contract ?

That in itself surely makes £70m derisory.
I’m pleased we are playing hardball, especially when we only have a week to find a replacement.

Great, a whole season with a player who doesn’t want to be here and can’t wait to leave!

all speculation.

Evidently isn’t.

Big deal he’ll get over it just like Mahrez did. Better to have him than nobody or get ripped off on a panic buy.

Best thing that can happen to us is if this deal doesn’t happen, tielemens also. They’ll both get their heads down I’m sure and survival is key for this season

Training with the youngsters because he missed a training session last week

Or Brendan reverting to type who doesn't like to pick anyone under the age of 22.

Brendan, the last dinosaur, he's a twat and a whole lot more.

The way rodgers just spoke -  like it’s just a matter of time and the clubs need to find an agreement to get it done …..

sounds to me like he wants any kind of deal done asap to allow him to get some new faces in

I’m not sure that the club will be on the same page

I think they will be if they get the price they want.
