Finding myself jealous of anybody who is going out for this game

Having only been to Copenhagen and the Atletico Madrid quarter final I haven't seen us score away in Europe

Should be a great trip for those travelling

I think we should really try to win this competition would be great to be the first to win it

Who gives a shit about how little money in it brings in.

I want to go to Albania and watch Leicester in a European final.

Absolutely. The weather is lovely in Tirana in May as well. We’re on our way, we’re on our way to Albania

Well excited for this now, the only 2 European aways I've had a ticket for have been Porto and Moscow - a mixed track record.

Less said about Porto, the better. The match anyway.

I'm sure the corrupt ****ers at UEFA will be doing all they can to make sure a Roma or Marseilles win it so the competition gains some reputation going forward.

A club of our size and reputation winning the inaugural trophy would put plenty of shine on it.

I feel that low about our club at the minute that I burst out laughing at this, and I'm not even sure if you were joking.

Leicester treble coming up...

FA.cup/Charity Shield, Europe's new cup..

Then we can tongue-tie ourselves, by singing around the country..

We got the treble..#@*?&

'You'll never sing that..'

ahhh the Romance. Then 9 months afterwards...Albanian women flooding the Clock-Tower approaches, looking

For 'the Father....& those long lost souls, still demanding Rodgers sacking..& Fofana the new Scape-Goat

That's a very sound point.

Maybe that's we didn't buy anyone in January, we're saving up for a UEFA bribe

I’m one of the lucky ones, about to board plane to Copenhagen from Manchester. It’s just occurred to me that when I get into the ground tomorrow it’ll be my second Danish ground. One more than I’ve been to in Scotland!

Not clever to score in Spain - you get beaten about the body by a Spanish copper …….I think the boys were looking out for us by not finding the net in Madrid ……

All the Rodgers has turned around is the dynasty behind the scenes that Nigel Pearson built. He’s dismantled the medical team that worked wonders for many years. He’s practically made the scouting network that worked wonders null and void by putting his faith in Lee Congerton (we were warned by Sunderland fans that he ruined their club). His failure to address our problems defending set pieces has cost us 15+ points this season, this is not an exaggeration (he blames the “set piece coach” though after “not realising it was a problem”). Players attitudes off the pitch are out of control, it’s bordering embarrassing.

Our only positive is that we are exciting going forward and create plenty of chances. Otherwise, everything else is becoming a disaster, on and off the pitch. Paint it however you like but we have been warned by others who have had Rodgers and Congerton involved at their clubs, and the similarities are becoming scarily accurate. We need rid before it’s too late.

Sorry but it was Ranieri who desimated & wrecked what one of the most respected, envied sport medical staff & organisation, it had the guts ripped out before Rodgers was on books..

Yes we still had quality reminents.

But Rodgers had nothing to with it..

Shakespeare was miffed and so many

Who stayed behind

Everything Pearson and colleagues who built a great platform.

For injuries, short & long-term rejuvenation...Ranieri even said boastingly.. The Italian methods were

better..Here he was simply a twat....

I'm on the train to the airport, I'm buzzing. This is what sport is all about. If you can't get excited by a pan European competition that ends with a summer time trophy lift then I feel very sorry for those folk.

When Tony James knocked that goal in we would of killed to be in this situation now.

Make the most of it I say, you never know when it will happen again.

Yep I think some know-alls have got their Tubellar bells twisted & knotted.

Thank god there are pockets of sanity

Pre-match Press Conference vs Randers - Brendan Rodgers

Rodgers on Conference League

“I mentioned before that when we lost to Napoli, we were only looking to qualify from that group. Respectfully that's what we were trying to do. We grew up with three European competitions, and for us this is the tournament, there are prestigious names in it, and when you’re in it you want to win it.”

Criticism?

“You’re always open to criticism in this game if you aren’t getting results. What we’ve achieved is fantastic. Credit in the back doesn't last. I don’t think there’s any there now. You need to get results. I don't get too emotional with words. We've had very important players missing. Over these last few weeks, playing Wolves and West Ham, seeing our performances, has been really pleasing, hopefully we’re on our way back to the level we’ve been accustomed to.”

Summer refresh?

“It’s just natural, to have a healthy shake-up of any squad is important. Competition is the best coach. We've got talented players. It's not just players moving on, it’s playing coming in to compete and challenge the first team. That’s important. We’ve got experienced players who are fantastic professionals. Any team needs refreshing. Hopefully we can do that.”

Replicate Ranieri's Prem win?

“It was such an iconic achievement. We’ll always do our best. We’ve won the FA Cup. The overall vision is to challenge and try to disrupt the top teams. And play a brand of football that the supporters enjoy watching and get excited about, and then developing our young players from the academy base. This year has been a challenge, but it’s been really enjoyable.”

Injuries?

"Harvey trained yesterday but should be fine for tomorrow. Ricardo Pereira we just need to assess and we need to be careful with him. We’ll finalise that today but the likelihood is that he won't travel."

Fofana?

“We have to be careful. We’ll manage that. He’s only just joined training so he’s not imminent to play. We’ll give him a few weeks with the squad. Seeing him back, it really shows you what we’ve missed. It was like the first day when he came in to join us. It’s a different mentality, it’s sheer quality that the boy has. There’s no doubt that when he gets back to playing, he will be great for the team.”

Randers second leg?

“Listening to their manager, I think it will be a more aggressive game, we have to be ready for that, they have some good players if you let them play, we have to forget about the scoreline, we have to be on our game.”

Conference League wins can help Prem form?

“I’ve always been performance-related, as that’s what leads to positive results. As I’ve said, the mentality in training is very good. We’re seeing a spirit and a mentality. That’s been our concentration, getting back to our level. They’re really good lads and day to day they want to work.”

Important to keep qualifying for Europe?

“Clearly if you want to progress, that’s what you want to be achieving. We don't take it for granted, we've had to work so hard to get consistent results. It’s where we want to be. Could we be a team that plays regular European football? It puts you out there on the European map as a club. We will fight to do that if we can this season.”

Three-year anniversary?

“I’ve said all the way along and I’ve been asked numerous times about other clubs, but hopefully I’ve always maintained my focus here at Leicester, that’s because I believe we can achieve something and that we can keep writing chapters at the football club. Logically if you look at it, we miss the players, our squad is not deep enough. With the players missing, it will affect performance, we have to be open to criticism. Players have been great, and we're very hungry to continue that.”

Tielemans improved since Forest?

“I had a good chat with Youri last week and the message I sent afterwards it was the benefit of them all. They’re all good guys, sometimes success can soften you and the Forest game was a chance to reflect and look at our levels of desire, collectively and individually, we needed to have a look at ourselves. We need to continue on this path. With players coming back we can have a very exciting end to the season.”
