I don’t see how you find any positive from this season. Each to their own.

I’m not speaking about the season , i referring to whether we should be concerned about relegation as that’s what the thread is about

I’m in a positive frame of mind about the rest of the campaign. There will be some bumps in the road but overall I expect another 20/25 points

I know, I’m just pointing out how embarrassing it is that we’re at the point where some are regarding not getting relegated as a positive.

Based on what!? Blind faith? Optimism? Hope? Ignorance? It's not our form to date, that's for certain.

We've got Leeds, Brentford at home. Watford away. Win those 3, and we can relax. Plus, we've got JV to come back. Would settle for a 0-0 against Burnley, unlikely as that seems right now.

If we lose every game this season and Norwich, Burnley, Watford, Newcastle, Brentford, Leeds, Everton and Aston Villa win all of their games even those where 2 of those teams play each other then we'll definitely get relegated.

We're in big big trouble.

The highest placed team we play in our remaining 7 home games is Southampton. If we take only 10 points from those 7 games that should be enough, irrespective of what we do away from home.

Does anyone know what we’re predicted to finish on based on average points per game?

44 on current points total for the season

but the the last 14 games we have amassed 13 points, so if it followed the same pattern could be 40 with a game to go

We have 1-3 games in hand on 6 of the 8 teams below us. Some of them are in freefall like Leeds we also have 3 games in hand on palace who are a place above us.

And we've been playing atrociously, shipping goals for fun and losing games regularly. Why are you (and others) treating these games in hand as though they're obvious wins for us? Nothing to date indicates that is remotely likely.

We're about 80/1 against for relegation and 6/1 joint favourites to win the Europa Conference League. So the chances of being in both the Championship and the Europa League next season are about 480/1. I doubt that either will happen.

Watford have Hodgson now, we'll get rinsed.

Brentford at home is our best chance of a win in the whole rest of the season.

We’ll finish 10th/12th.

Vardy is coming back, Fofana will be back after Arsenal, along with JJ & it’s looking like Pereira is getting back to his best. We’ll be fine. We have a lot of games coming up where we should be taking points. Home games against Leeds, Norwich, Brentford, Everton, Villa. Burnley, Watford & Newcastle away to come where we should also pick up points. The performances have started to turn. The points will come.

We should have enough in the home games to see us clear of danger.

The fact it's even a conversation (and it should be, too) is a serious underperformance.

We were favourites to win the Europa League. And odds on to finish top 4 in both previous years with 10 games to go. Where did those odds get us? Honestly, the entitled attitude in here that we can turn over these teams as if they're not turning up is super scary.

Using the same logic, we've got 2 points from the our last 5 games and with 15 games left we only get 6 more points. Total = 33 points! I'm not panicking until Tuesday when Burnley get their first corner.

And we still have to play Chelsea, Manure, Arsenal & Spuds away not to mention in form Burnley). We really need to hope our home form perks up

So all the 8 teams below us who have played more games than us are playing well, winning games and have water tight defences do they?

Watford for instance just shipped 4 to Palace tonight ffs.

Leeds have conceded 16 goals in their last 4 Premier league games lol

Watford, Leeds and conpany also don't have games in hand and Fofana, Evans and Justin to bolster their defence in the coming weeks.

I know your upset, angry and desperate to be proven right about the manager but we are not in a relegation fight ffs and if you think we will then you can get 100 to 1 on it on the bookies feel free to give your money away.

Perhaps Leeds will buy Vestegaard to improve their defence
