Vestan Pance Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 I'm not worried at all, we're probably about 5,000-1 to get relegated. 1

Why?????? Why would you expect to win there? They’ve lost 3 at home so far. a draw is way more likely and that means we’re a worldie or a bad ref call away from a one goal defeat.
The whole world smiles Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 If we lose to every team above us and only manage a point a game against all the teams below us (0.6 points per game, currently on 1.2) which is an absolutely catostrophic worse case scenario then we will still finish on 36 points which will be enough to stay up this season based on the bottom 3s absolutely honking first half of the season and that they all have play each other. 2

winteriscoming Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 Do Burnley play at the weekend? Not that I’m worried. No win this year, dreadful defensively but I’m sure we’ll be fine.

Corky Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 Burnley are away at Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Lol even if we are in a relegation battle (we aren't, we have far too many points on the board already and too many games in hand) Then I don't think it's Burnley that we have to finish above. They have made some excellent signings in Jan and have a great defence the sides in serious trouble are Leeds, Watford, Norwich.

We’ve thrown leads and lost a game based on defensive frailties we’ve shown all season. Not picking up players, a high line, slow reactions and general awareness. Our ability to hold onto the ball has been slightly better but I don’t think that alone turns a corner. The last 4 league games we’ve educated on how to get a result by each team. Spurs (not to give up), Brighton (how to flip a game when going 1-0 down), West Ham (how to play badly but still grind out a result) and Wolves (similar to West Ham but also how to keep a side who wants the ball mainly outside the box). I wouldn’t traditionally class those teams as bigger then us but they’ve certainly shown a bigger team mentality against us.
Ric Flair Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 If we don't win at least 1 of these next 2 league games then we need liquidating. I could well see Leeds sacking Bielsa soon.

Watford for instance just shipped 4 to Palace tonight ffs. Leeds have conceded 16 goals in their last 4 Premier league games Watford, Leeds and conpany also don't have games in hand and Fofana, Evans and Justin to bolster their defence in the coming weeks. I know your upset, angry and desperate to be proven right about the manager but we are not in a relegation fight ffs and if you think we will then you can get 100 to 1 on it on the bookies feel free to give your money away. And we recently shipped 4 to Forest, 2 in 30 secs to Spuds and lost to a team who only had 2 meaningful attempts on goal. It means nothing if you look like you're controlling a game then lose it whatever the reason. It's the decisions you make when the opposition decide not to just let you walk off with 3 points because you may look the dominant team. Most times those decisions have been pants. 4 1

John12345 Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 It'll be Norwich Watford and someone. Who that is I'm not sure! If we carry on like we have been it'll be close run for sure.
blueharmie Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 He's taking us down lads. We ship 2 a game and it's been like this we'll over a season. He can't change us leaking goals he hasn't got a clue. Worrying times. 1

I agree with most of this but we are talking about going down do you really expect us to get less than 0.6 points a game? (watford have sacked 3 managers and are currently on 0.72)

jayfox26 Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 Vardy back next week and Fofana back soon. So long as we don't get anymore key injuries we are miles better than the teams below us once we get everyone back. We have been unlucky in a few games recently and the Randers game showed we can score goals, even though they were absolutely garbage! I don't think we'll finish higher than 10th but I also don't think we'll finish below where we are now, 12th. The Burnley game is big and win in that will put to bed any fears of relegation. Lose and it could start to get a bit nervy but I still think we will be fine.
Foxxed Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 (edited) You should only worry when it's too late. Secret of a happy life, that. Take it from me. No charge. Edited 23 February 2022 by Foxxed 2
Bazly Posted 23 February 2022 Posted 23 February 2022 (edited) There is only one relegation slot up for grabs and that is between, taking the shit form sides, Burnley, Leicester City, Everton, Leeds or Brentford. I think it'll be Leeds or Brentford for the free trap door slot this season. Edited 23 February 2022 by Bazly
cruzFOX Posted 24 February 2022 Posted 24 February 2022 Holy crap what a wacky day of results! we need to get back to winning ways asap! I really don't like what's happening around us in the table and don't wanna get dragged into that hot mess
