Gotta start thinking about the climate crisis too....100's of clubs releasing a new shirt every season....not good on the old carbon footprint and a bit pointless if I'm honest

I once flew from Vietnam to the UK and bought a shirt from the fanstore and then, after my holiday, flew back to Vietnam. The shirt was made in Vietnam and so had done the same trip. Mad!

Just saw this on Twitter.

Never mind the prices, what was going on with the sizes back in 1983?

Was everyone incredibly skinny, but youths had massive feet? lol

Boots brought bigger at 8 so you could grow in to them by 15

They weren't skinny, that was just normal. The fat bastard quotient was much lower back in the 80's!

32 inch shorts as the biggest option?!

And the biggest shirt available the equivalent of a large?

I mean I'd be alright. I'm skinny but fat. Had a 32 inch waist for about 20 years, the belly just hangs further over the top these days :D

I can't remember but suppose replica kits were only really for kids and youths back then!

Grown ups wore scarves etc.

Times change, soon it will be leotards for the wrestling and god knows how we manage our beers at the boxing

And then some teams have 'cup' kits, which are basically just different home kits. And fourth kits, limited edition kits, pre-match jerseys, etc. Crazy really.

Don’t look up how many kits Napoli had this season

EDIT: Just read the email this was sent on and thankfully the email runners have said this is not the actual kit, just one they designed. So hopefully we won’t have this league one monstrosity 😂

This is not the kit and we’ve already gone over that in this thread.

Yeah, it’s just a concept 3rd kit based on the Addidas B shirt… I wasn’t honestly trying to pass it off as being our next kit!
