although in fairness it was  a DB ‘injured’ so if anything he’d have needed a defensive substitute. But we already had cags on the bench for that. Maybe he’d worked on different tactics for the week with the players already on the bench. But yeah, hurts no one to fill an empty space. Even if it’s just for the experience of being with the first team. That alone can be a motivator for a young kid to keep on improving.

We're all Arsenal tonight ain't we? If they win then Chelsea guaranteed top 4 which means they can beat Liverpool in the FA Cup final at the weekend and then go and get blasted all week and gift us 3 points on Thursday.

However, arsenal and Chelsea will go at it to the end the season to finish top london club so I do t think it affects our game

We were on the verge of battering Villarreal that night before the leg break which just killed the game for us. When u look at how good they were in the Champions League it sickens me that dirty mucker who assaulted Wes basically ruined our season.

There was a real sense that the wind was taken out of our sails at that moment. We already had a few injury problems at that time, but we were dominating that match. I was optimistic about the season ahead based on our performance up to that point. Then Wes's leg was snapped, and it just felt like the last straw. The atmosphere completely changed, as if the crowd knew we were going to struggle as a result of this. A real sickener, that one. In a pissing friendly, as well.

If they were arguing that they didn't want to spunk a large fee on a defender that's not long back from broken leg then I'd say fair play. To dismiss him as being their 6th choice and not worth £8 million is mental  They're not even saying it to wind people up as their main audience would be United fans. 

 

The face they were speaking so confidently about how average he is was wild haha, just admit you've rarely seem him play and you don't know how good he is.

These 2 knobs are just like most media "pundits" who haven't got a clue about anybody that doesn't play for the top 4-5 clubs. Funnily enough they'd be desperate to get Fofana in 1-2 yrs time, but he'll probably reject them for a bigger/better club.
