Seriously , he hasn’t signed a new deal to leave three months later ……

We sign players with potential, when they are at the height of their potential value, we do not sell and the value slowly goes down and the contract remains unsigned. We start to panic with a year to go and try to get the price, at best of what we paid for him, (see Tielemans). In this business (and to a big extent, that is what it is) we need to maximise our assets, when the opportunity arises.

  We know there is talent out there, his fee could cover a rebuild beyond our initial expectations, if we had to finance a rebuild, it would have to be this summer.

my point stands 

 

if there was real acceptable immediate interest from Chelsea then it would already be well advanced between Chelsea and agent  and the player would not have signed a new deal with us 

 

wes stays for at least another season, depending on what happens here next year and how he progresses ….

If because of current circumstances they can't offer Rudiger a deal, how can they afford Fofana? A couple of weeks ago it was Soyuncu! Why would anyone at the moment go there until new owners arrive, settle in and agents, players and everyone else see what they're about and what their intentions are.

I doubt anyone will be rushing to sign for Chelsea given the uncertainty there. I wouldn't be entertaining any bid less than 100 million.

 

I don't think I'd sell for any price though as a  CB of his quality comes along only every few years and can be the difference between doing Well and winning Trophies.

Ffs why should he leave,why should we sell him, he’s good but far from the finished product. If we are still playing at topside PL,can’t see him wanting go,

plus we  LCFC have proved our loyal part..2 more seasons, then the question will be asked..At the moment just click bait…

He looks very self-assured and comfortable.

 

Hopefully it makes Soyuncu to step up a bit more when he's given future opportunities.

One of the few to come out of recent games with any credit. Looks like he hates to lose - went down the tunnel very quickly after the final whistle looking thoroughly pissed off. Wish we had a few more with his mentality.

Yep, someone literally all of the players can learn from. Can tell he was frustrated at the end when he made that tackle. Had the space to drive forward into, which he did, then fck all movement ahead of him.
