Not just his defending but ability to start moves from the back, it's night and day compared to when he's not playing. I just hope we save him for the European games now, can't risk not having him available.

Second only to Kante at performing his role that I can remember seeing for us, he’s such a talent. Please never sell him.

Has to be up there as his best performance in an LCFC shirt tonight! Totally dominate at the back and so often brings the ball out of defence to start off our attacks.  Looks to of filled out quite a bit while he's been out injured as well

Amazing this bloke had a leg break in pre season. Have not eaten or drunk. And he this is good. Unbelievable.

 

What if he did not have a leg break? He should sue the player who tackled him.

That tackle with the outside of his right boot to kill their counter in the second half.

 

He won the foot race despite being behind, and then I swear there was a second where he levitated and slid sideways through the air until the time was right to knock the ball away.

 

He's got cheat codes I'm sure.

Maybe its exaggerated by how bad we've been at the back this season but it's reminiscent of Kante in the way he's just comfortably better than everyone else
