83% at 32,000 will soon become 75% at 40,000. Just don't see how we will consistently get close to 40,000.

In my opinion this decline in interest is due to the club pushing this family atmosphere, restrictions and curbing any enthusiasm. European quarter final at a club that has 22,000 STH and struggling to sell out. People are just not interested and it's not the football on the pitch that is the reason. It's the sanitisation and the control the club are trying to impose.

To be fair it’s no different from Spurs though. West Ham’s group games in Europa were at 80%ish but they sold out Sevilla last round.

Saints’ figures were boosted by two good Cup attendance - which had decent away support too.

Leeds is a superb attendance playing Crewe.

Strikes me that we lag slightly behind the pack but not by much at all.

Lots of them just don't really understand fan behaviour.

It's like the club have a picture of the median fan in their minds and everything is directed at them, not the most invested 50%

Having looked up the Commerical Director’s previous career, yeah I can see that.

Just looked, you'd think the spell as a commercial lawyer at UEFA would mean the club know exactly what the regulations are like lol

Bet they give away tickets to 'Cool as Leicester' too. Looking at their insta they have had 4 or 5 people at the european aways so must be some sort of way for their members to benefit too.

Cool as Leicester is one girl, she goes to Leicester games home and away out of her own pocket. She very occasionally gets invited to hospitality at the club which she openly admits to on her social media (ad invited). Which the club do because its incredibly cheap advertising to her 50 odd thousand followers across all social media platforms.

Fair play i did say in a post afterwards that she seems to have been going for a long time and has put pictures of season tickets from a long time ago up. The issue is not with her or the group tbh. It's with the club.

She hasnt done anything wrong. She has requested something for her members and the club have said yes. The issue is solely with the club who have agreed to it with no consideration how this makes fans that go week in week out feel.

Yep, big fan of Cool as Leicester and have had a black card before.

I mean, one discounted ticket per card holder might have caused a stir... but ****ing six?! lol What sort of simpletons are the club employing who would sign that off after the deadline for season ticket holders to pay full whack to reserve their seat?

Just took a look at cup games for five differing PL clubs who either had Europe or similar sized stadiums/cities

Southampton - 92% capacity sold

Leeds - 90%

West Ham - 88%

Leicester - 83%

Spurs - 62%

That proves my point that no PL club sells out for cup games :D

Cool as Leicester have been tremendous for Leicester as a city. They have helped the city so much during lockdown and out of it.

They also praise the atmosphere at the rugby and take selfies everywhere. I’m sure this will fit well with our home support.

That is the standard response you get to absolutely everything.

This is the club that won a "best fan engagement" award recently.

What do you actually want him to say?

I would say that's unbelievable but it really, really isn't.

Absolutely horrifying that someone's ticketing issue has been forwarded to the ticketing department.

We're very sorry and have credited your account with the difference.

Please do not let this put you off coming to games and go to Notts Forest instead.
