Yeah that's the impression I get too. I don't think the manager wants a blood and thunder style of game, and TBH given how many players are just coming back and a huge game on Thursday, it's understandable.

 

But this game is totally there to be won. Hard to believe Man United are so average / poor, but they are.

 

I think if we had Vardy playing we'd win this easily, he'd be well up for it. Alas Sir Jamie is still injured.

So so boring except a couple of good 1 touch football sequences. We are a very strange team, feels like we deliberately opt not to attack with intensity other than on occasion when we've bored the opposition in to submission.

Not the best so far but I guess it's progress that we don't concede in the first 10. It's an even game; both sides look a bit patchy/crap. We've played some nice football but haven't got it together in the final 3rd. With Nacho playing as the 'false footballer' and Madders largely absent, up front it's only been Barnes that's looked lively. 

 

We can win this though I feel. Stop giving the ball away and don't try and over-complicate it around their box, we're doing ok at the back.

Honestly thought the game was very boring. We looked okay in moments, but United are really below par today so worth taking that into consideration. It's probably flattering us how average they are.

When you are at old Trafford and you limit them you have to be pleased, think we have the confidence to step it up second half and take it to them

I cant see Man Utd being as poor as they have been in the second half. We may have missed a chance to get ahead and really put the pressure on them. We need to strike when we get the chance because they will have the majority of the ball. Also we may have to burn our subs on Fofana and Evans so are options may be reduced in this half

Remember when tournament referees allowed tackling and didn't blow the whistle for every tackle and touch and the game was massively better for it?

Yeah I'm not too bothered but does feel they are there for the taking and if we don't step it up you can see a 1-0 Man Utd coming.

An absolutely shocker of a game of football. As bad as anything I’ve seen all season. Get a centre forward and a right winger on that pitch asap
