Dip into the resssies/youths if you have to. Explain to the media/fans that the player needs to be managed otherwise you risk losing them long term. It's really not hard. I know you said a lot easier, but that makes it sound like he tried to manage players returns sensibly, which he didn't at all. 2
Chelmofox Posted 17 April 2022 Posted 17 April 2022 (edited) Amazes me that we have 2 defences these days. Back a few months we could barely put one together! Resting Maddison is the right thing to do, but with there was some sort of cover for KDH. He's the engine room right now but surely needs a rest? Is Soumare injured or is he now on Brendan's ***t list now that he seems to have forgiven Perez. Edited 17 April 2022 by jamesp26 1

filbertway Posted 17 April 2022 Posted 17 April 2022 (edited) That front 3 has the potential to be the most frustrating front 3 we've ever had. All incredibly capable of playing to a high level and all of them are capable of throwing in a horrific performance on the ball. All 3 should mean that we try and press well though. No idea what KDH has got to do to get a rest, Rodgers has a new favourite toy and can't wait to burn him out haha Edited to say KDH aside I'm fully behind the selection - that team is more than capable of picking up 3 points if we approach the game positively Edited 17 April 2022 by filbertway 4

adejo92 Posted 17 April 2022 Posted 17 April 2022 Can't argue with that, Squad rotation. All of those players are more than capable, its up to them to prove it now they have been given the chance. Perez did well against PSV and has been rewarded.

adejo92 Posted 17 April 2022 Posted 17 April 2022 Chris Wood is pretty much guaranteed to score isn't he. Luke Thomas will allow the cross, Soyunchu will lose out in the air to Wood, You heard it here first. 1

At least if it's an evening game you can refuel straight after, or even during. Playing a full 90 minutes in heat and not being able to refuel for another 5 hours sounds like hell. 1
Tommy Fresh Posted 17 April 2022 Posted 17 April 2022 Matt Targett, how long before we see his arsey face moaning about something or before he commits a dangerous foul.
cruzFOX Posted 17 April 2022 Posted 17 April 2022 We could get a tune out if Perez in this game. If he can get himself to think playing his old time is like a cup final that’s all he needs to do. Someone else has to keep saint maximo quiet and not cause too much chaos when he runs at our back line
