We'd have said the same about kelechi though

Kel is light years ahead though. His all round game offers so much more. Daka when not scoring is a waste of a shirt.

Yeah, he has the raw ingredients. Maybe lacks some of the game sense of Vardy. Some service for him would help… aside from that one chance midweek can’t remember him being put through often of late, like we seem to manage for Vardy

I would say thats got more to do with he doesn't make has good runs has vardy like vardys touch can sometimes not be the greatest but wow daka the ball bounces off him every time

That cross from Youri pretty much sums him up this season. Nowhere near what he can produce

He had a good start to the season. Kind of reminds me of Drinky last season, best player in the first 7 games and then shit and then gone.

That's movement. Daka doesn't seem so plugged in, although Vardy is one of the best - he's been scoring despite the poor service because he's amazing.

I think we underestimate how incredible Vardy is at receiving the ball, he basically never wastes it, one of the best in the world at it statistically among elite strikers.

edit:

Vardy is 99th percentile at miscontrolling the ball (eg top 1% of elite strikers), and again 99th percentile at being disposed. Elite.

Same criticism was labelled at kelechi, daka has seemed promising so far but I think it really is a confidence thing. Whether he's the man to fill vardys shoes is another more complicated question though

Sky can shove that goals conceded from corners stat up their arse. So bored of seeing it.
