What can you say to that really?

It would be easy to write a loss off if it was purely just down to us making so many changes in readiness for Thursday. I'm sure some people will still argue that is the case.

But the reality is, bar the odd game here and there, that was the same shower of a performance we've seen all season, and for the latter part of the last 2 seasons before that. It just so happened to be with a second string team today.

We used to be incredibly exciting to watch and even the biggest teams in the league feared our attack because of the slick, fast movement that we could produce. Is that really still the case? The opposition goalkeeper rarely gets tested. It's an incredibly suffocating style of play.

I really, really hope we win on Thursday but we cannot play like that against a team like Roma at their place.

We are not going to open up against Roma in Rome - unless we want to get slaughtered. Best hope would be to lure them to sleep... :D

If there is a team we never look like winning against, it is Spurs.

......and Arsenal and WestHam and Chelsea and Man City and Everton and Napoli and (?) Roma.

Why so angry who honestly thought we would win, who now also agrees with Rodgers in that the squad isn’t good enough?

Only thing I’m disappointed about is the lack of mention for Brunt’s Premiership debut despite a fan base that goes on about development squad so much

The squad isn't good enough because he's signed crap like Vestegaard, Bertrand and Perez. Soumare I'm still 50/50 on.

We're spending hundreds of thousands a week on his signings who are now being deemed not good enough, but they've still got years left on their contracts!

Conceded 3 goals which Son’s good finish aside it was far too easy to get into them positions!

hopefully no injuries and they give absolutely everything Thursday!! Anyone not up for the scrap stay the **** away from that pitch!

61% of the ball and 2 shots on Target, just not good enough.

I really really miss the counter attacking team we used to be. Excitement, enjoyable football where when we got the ball we attacked. Really had enough of the passing/keep ball game, I have been in the BR out camp for a while because of this, it's like he's rang Claude for advice on how to have his team play.

Anyway, onto Thursday 👍

I think the score flattered them a bit but no doubt it was the right result.

On the plus side Soumare looked better, Brunt got his league debut and Vardy got 25 minutes.

Disappointed with Brunt, looked a bit lost, but hopefully he'll realise the level he needs to reach.

What a waste of time and effort. Should have taken the dogs on the longer route at 6.30am this morning and given this a miss. Only enjoyable part was the bottle of wine pre match. Can understand all the Roma importance but this was just a training exercise performance. Rodgers must have no respect for travelling fans based on that. Soulless performance like White Hart Lane and it’s so called fans.

Well that was as expected.

Won £40 by betting on Kane, Son, Spurs & both teams to score (Thanks Kelechi!),  so there was that.

When Soyuncu arrived on the scene, I really thought we had a centre back that could attack with the ball, that thought has disappeared and what we’ve ended up with is a player who plays on the back foot all the time and isn’t much use at going up for corners, time to get rid. Thomas might be alright in a couple of years, but for now, he’s not up to the job, Armarty is a very lucky lad to be able to call himself both a prem player and winner!

I know it was not our 1st choice team

And the result today is clearly not important

But tactically it has epitomised the frustrations this season

Play keep ball rather than try to create chances

Plenty of possession, without creating whilst leaving ourselves open at the back.

Rinse and repeat...

Our B team comfortably fcuked by spurs who still have something to play for in the league.

More annoyed by Everton winning to be honest:whistle:

Stopped watching after 60 mins. Not sure why I bothered in the first place.

It’s the excitement of being a criminal by watching it on a stream never quite knowing if the rozzers are going to turn up on the door.

Our first 11 would be underdogs away to Spurs, so when our second 11 (Kaspers in both somehow!) goes and loses it’s not really worth a meltdown even if there were something to play for in the league. As is, we’ve got some rest for the majority of Thursday nights players, given a few an opportunity to stake a claim to the bench and got out injury free.

Take the positives. Even if that positive is that “player x” has played themselves out of contention.

We’ve got a big game to play and seemingly a fully fit squad to choose from for the first time in about … what feels like an age.

Just remember Tammy Abraham is no Harry slackjaw Kane!

Isn't Rodgers to blaim for the quality of the squad. The majority of his signings have been poor
