It's a no brainer to play 2 up top whilst we currently offer absolutely no movement and creativity in a 4-3-3.

 

I'm no fan of 3 at the back but I think it's the way we beat Roma to match them up and hurt them.

Predictably, they have struggled with the fixture schedule and rotation too. Bologna are miles off the standard of Spurs, and Roma were lucky not to concede where as everything just popped in for Spurs.  

 

Both teams have their eye on Thursday.  Can't wait!

We went 2 up top and didn't offer a huge amount of creativity yesterday.

Yup, which also means they'll leave gaps down the sides. Key areas for us to exploit. We need Barnes and Lookman to stretch play and cause chaos down their flanks.

You're not meant to play weakened teams in the league, I'm sure the comments about KDH and Maddison are just incase the league protest. If also keeps Roma guessing about our line up too. Some of you take everything so literally.

Yeah, and Roma look shattered after 60 mins on Thursday. It’s one pattern which has been evident in our favour during the latter part of the European run. PSV were cooked come 60 mins in the Netherlands and Rennes had ran of steam until a goal with a bit of fortune.
