And which parent Club do you think would be happy to let one of their (young) players come into the vile toxic workplace we currently have ?

Not exactly full of good role models in fact its completely the opposite

Until that is resolved getting our own young lads to sign contracts and getting loanees to come on board is proving very difficult

All of the above is of our own doing I might add and not Glovers

Right so got it, never sign a single player ever, never loan a single player ever.

Get these bums out the club. Every single thing that is wrong can be traced to Aiyawatt & Rudkin.

Faes - Good signing, shit attitude

Kristensen - was promising, declined in line with club

Souttar - criminally underused, not done much wrong

Cannon - sold for profit

Mavididi - good signing, limited potential but good Championship winger

Hermansen - sold for profit, great signing

Coady - bought in when we needed a leader in the dressing room, didn’t work, but made sense

Winks - good signing, shit attitude

Fatawu - great signing

Okoli - something there

Skipp - Cooper’s fault

Ayew - Cooper’s fault, at least an option in the Championship

BEK - good signing, should cash in for profit

Woyo - ????

I trust in Glover. I don’t trust Rudkin or Top, or our ability to identify culture setting leaders.

I don't really agree with all of this. Coady for example, was 30+ coming to the end of his career and we spent £8m on him. He was a terrible signing given the money. I also didn't include the lesser known singings, such as Golding, or free transfers such as Reid.

Overall our terrible recruitment is one of the issues why we are in this mess and everybody associated with that, including Glover as he is "head of senior recruitment", should be accountable. You don't just pick and choose when the club is failing.

Feels like making me head of technology at a company, and then deciding we don’t need any systems. I presume he’s looking at players he’d love to sign but knows nothing is going to happen. I bet his weekly catchup with Rudkin is great fun.

Fatawu, Hermansen and Bilal the only real successes for me.

Bilal, we are led to believe, was a Leuven suggestion. Hermansen supposedly one Enzo knew from Man City interest. Even so, I’ll happily give him those 3 (Fatawu was a genius bit of scouting).

Other than that, really, really poor. Gets away with it because of the heat on Rudkin

Character matters more than anything right now, and Mr Glover has proven to be terrible at judging it.

I just ask myself on an individual basis how many of these shysters and primadonnas Nigel Pearson would have tolerated in his squad, let alone allow to be scouted by Steve Walsh. Of the Glover era signings I can probably count 4, one of which we've barely seen play (Souttar, Hermansen, Fatawu and BEK) who seem to have the right attitude or bottle to succeed. And we might well lose the three of those four who aren't long term residents on the physio's bench. Okoli has shown glimpses too but seems to have a paper-thin mentality most games too.

So yeah, Glover has packed the squad with players whose mentality and ego are the epitome of our collapse. He's as much a part of the problem as Top and Rudkin and needs to go on the P45 bonfire.

I think you're being generous.

Faes - Shocking signing. A large reason for our decline is attitude off the pitch. Something that Glover clearly has no interest in.

Kristiansen - Has the ability of a mid-table Championship left back and the personality of a ham sandwich. Awful signing.

Souttar - £1m per league appearance. Awful signing.

Cannon - Extremely fortunate to sell him for such a large price so that's a bit of luck.

Mavididi - Good signing for the price and our standing at the time. What we needed.

Hermansen - Good signign for the price. Bit of a punt and it worked. Sold for good profit (some would argue not enough of a profit).

Coady - Really poor signing. Bit part player in our Championship winning season. Massive wages. Horrendous mistake after horrendous mistake in the Premier League. Sold for a big loss.

Winks - Looked to be an inspired signing but he's thrown his toys out of the pram because he was asked to live closer to the City. Again no interest in scouting his personality.

Fatawu - A genuine 10/10 signing.

Okoli - Hasn't done anything since he got here yet he cost £15m. Awful signing.

Skipp - Atrocious signing. A genuine 0/10.

Ayew - I don't mind it but he's probably on a tidy wage. I see the benefits of him but we needed much more.

BEK - A clever signing. Young hungry player with bags of ability and potential. It's worked out well and we'll sell for a 50% profit.

Coulibaly - Another 0/10 signing.

Not trying to argue with your points, absolutely understand what you’re saying. I’m trying to look at process vs outcome on players. VK, Coady, Cannon, seemed to all make sense at the time. I feel the same with Okoli, I don’t think he’s been played enough to get a good look at what he *actually* is.

Completely agree on scouting personalities, it’s my biggest issue with Glover. The lack of joined up thinking and listening to managers too much has what’s gotten us in trouble.

I don’t think Wout Faes is the main reason behind our decline. I don’t think his attitude is helping, but this same attitude helped us get straight back up. Resigning Vesty is a bigger issue for me, not Glover’s responsibility.

I will die on the Souttar hill though. Could’ve been Maguire 2.0. I am admittedly very biased as I’ve watched a hell of a lot of him prior to his signing and was calling for it on here well before we were linked. So poorly managed.

When the players know they’re going to outlast the manager, why would they listen? It’s a Rudkin/Top thing more than Glover.

Anyone heard anything about the rumours Glover was going to be taking a more prominent role this summer in transfer dealings?

It was either Jordan Blackwell Or Tom Collomosse that reported it

Rudkin has never been able to do what been done this window in terms of moving players on. He must be more involved.

They say Rudkin was going to take a step back. Can he please take a very large step right out of the club

A bit harsh he has some very good qualities that he has brought to the club over the years. I've listed them below for you.....

Still waiting for that list?

It’s either Glover, or Glover working with rudkin or Top previously wanted a say in everything and they’ve told him he has to back off and let them get on with it. Whatever, something has definitely changed this summer.

You don’t know the ins and outs but he is head of recruitment or head scout and has been here and we’ve ****ed up all 3 PL windows. It’s on his record. The January window 22/23 was probably one of the most important in the last few years and it’s one of the worsts we’ve had.  Souttar and Woyo have been completely blacklisted by two or more managers.

At best, the jury is out on him.

Could be why weve actually sold fringe players for a change.

Id hate to be a scout because how on earth is he being blamed for a players suddenly getting the hump (winks).

When he was signed, he was rightly heralded as the perfect player for Enzo’s system. In fact, he was the only player that if absent, we couldn’t function properly without. How can the scout get blamed for how he reacts with future managers and changing circumstances :dunno:

Glover “ Here’s a player we should sign/ sell “

Rudkin “ ooh tricky deal… very tricky.. sorry can’t do it”….
