Ok. Good to hear that some teams in a relegation battle can turn to prime Barcelona in their 36th game while their opponents are making the worst defensive decisions all season. Nothing to see here. All good and normal.

What in your opinion is the goal of this conspiracy and who are its architects?

Many years ago, I had to spend several weeks in Southampton for work training courses. I was looking forward to it, imagining a lively port city.

I've spent time in uglier cities (Stoke, Cov, most of Plymouth), but have rarely spent time anywhere so deadly dull - only Reading comes to mind. "MK by the sea" is spot on. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Shame we look likely to see them again next season.... :(

One of my best mates (previously of this parish) moved down there 6/7 years back and **** me it’s dreadful. Can imagine loads of people going “ I don’t actually listen to music!” or similar down there, the snow patrol of cities

10 years ago we were watching the start of the greatest years in our clubs history. 10 years on and we are seeing the fall of that dream.

Incomings of Vestagard, Bertrand, Kristiansen, Soumare, Tete, Souttar, Faes - all I'm afraid not good enough. Combined with Ward in goal for most of the season.

Sorry forgot Daka. All a pile of poo.

There is usually a final twist when it comes to relegation scraps, but I just can't see how that will be us.

Those two draws today by Leeds and Forest, are huge - especially for Forest. 4 points ahead with us likely losing to Liverpool.

Brutal truth is, we just don't deserve to stay up. So little fight and desire. Sad times, but a big clear out in the Summer will be a good thing!

Agreed. The final twist will not be us.

Let's not forget Southampton's most famous player is a flat earthing COVID denying crackpot and the place itself is MK by the sea - the more I think about it, **** them

Good thing for Tiss is that he won't hear about this as it will be in the mainstream media.

Both 2-2 games should be investigated. There was something off in the performance of Newcastle and Chelsea and you could figure it from the first minute. Call me a conspiracy theorist or whatever. This is a disgrace and our board is there liable for letting this happen just to be happy to take the TV money.

I take it you've been imbibing to drown your sorrows bud 😵‍💫..

It's simple to explain really, other teams do this strange thing.. it's called FIGHTING TO STAY UP...

Our bunch of losers are and always have been soft and basically roll over.

Add to this some have employed proven specialists like the "not good enough for Leicester city" Dyche, Allardyce and Hodgson (who are all clearly rubbish) and you don't need conspiracies.

Occams razor my friend.

Unless Everton and Leeds don't pick up any?

I've been calling for a tiny bit of optimism over the course of the last week, trying to reign in some people's pessimistic hyperbole by explaining the maths.

But even I think it's ridiculous to expect Everton to pick up no more points. They look the best of the four of us in it at the moment and they've got Bournemouth at home on the last day. We almost certainly need 2 points from our next two games in order to finish above them.

Of course it's POSSIBLE they lose all their games but it isn't particularly likely.

I was just thinking the same

The fact that Southampton, relegated with two games still to play, did the double over us this season, sums our season up quite nicely.

Imagine if we had those 6 points

I think there will be a twist, but it will be Leeds who provide it rather then us. In all likelihood we'll be relegated in the next two games.

Listening to radio Leicester and a guy on there said if we get relegated then it’ll be the club with the biggest wage bill. These leeches who call themselves players are the most disgraceful squad we’ve ever had. They have three games to prove me wrong.

We are not the first club to be relegated with a big wage bill but we will not be relegated with the biggest wage bill. Dunno how people can suddenly forget teams like QPR and Newcastle who got relegated with bigger wage bills than us.

Agree about our players though. I’ve said all season, regardless of manager, they are a disgrace.

Alright. You all have a legit point about these teams showing more fight in a relegation battle. I don't disagree. My initial argument was the way the fixtures are spread the last 3-4 weeks of the season. I can't find any logic behind the fact we're playing Mondays after all the other teams in the relegation scrap and especially when some of them are playing against teams that are actually on the beach.

This was my actual point and my conspiracy theory of frustration follows it.
