I think people need to stop doing it to themselves. We're not winning either of the last two games. Newcastle will breeze past us.

Newcastle vastly superior,because they bring their individual & team skill set and mental discipline ,when needed…We struggled those 2 seasons at least 6 games out right , and will until the end….Newcastle squad kept/keeping it together..

Again FTers underrating opposition squads, and overrating ours..


If this season doesn’t convince posters,then I dispair…

Chronic Injuries I have used to defend our team,but nomatter how you slice it,

not just Rodgers repetative failures, but the squad lacked the heart,the soul,the fight

at the top,and now at the bottom in the 3 EOS run-ins… It only takes 3-5 players in the squad who are half-hearted tits, and then the others fight & soul are easily blown away…

One can’t talk a good fight, you have walk & prove it, not 100%, but at least 85-95% of the time..

Brighton top 8, but blew their organisation & discipline away,with Forest,Everton & a few other games,where points were there to grab…Newcastle kept going & that magic potion whatever it is…rekindled Newcastle,L’pool, Manutd & yes Arsenal..resurgence has challengers. Their new & older finances allowed them to

 Continually Bring in better quality players not just with better skills,but deep mental discipline ,no matter any period of poor form,they can reassess and push on as individuals & squad…
 

Even Spurs are since early 2000s, consistently yapping at Europe.

We just had a short flatter,and were a short irritation..

Probably for over 15-16 years our worse 3 season squad, that wasnt capable of showing over long periods consistent will to fight & commit.

There is no chance of this happening. Not even haha, 5000-1 if anyone can do it, it’s us “no chance”. This is realistically not a chance in hell can this happen. Each of the scenarios has this team doing something positive. Whether that be a win, a draw, or one of each. Nothing is impossible but this is very close to the impossible without it being impossible. 
 

if we get another point this year, that in itself is a miracle.

Upset a possible CL candidate & send 2 ,unlikable teams down…


We did once the impossible over 38 games,why not a 2 game miracle..4999/1

Going to be interesting to see what sort of team Moyes puts out for Leeds on Sunday, coming on basically two days rest.  They have one more meaningful match to play this season and it’s not in the league.

The martyr complex is so intrinsic to the Liverpool identity under Klopp.  It really is sort of bizarre.
