Just seen Brighton play some delightful football in a 3-4-3/3-4-2-1 so I’ve been converted

I echo those in here who think we’ll go to a back 3 tomorrow (and possibly for the remainder of the season now).

 

Can see it as an attempt to get 3 x CB’s on the pitch to defend corners more than anything.

 

I don’t really care what team he puts out as long as we win, I can’t state highly enough how much I would love to see Everton go down!!

Yep, I'll go with that.

It's a side capable of getting a result from all of the cannon fodder and beach sides we have left to play.

Going to have to miss this one as I got food poisoning/a stomach bug and I know there's no way I will have the energy to navigate the replacement buses tomorrow. I've got a funny feeling that we are going to get a good result here, so am quite disappointed!

Because of the form we are in and morale probably low after Roma, plus nothing much to play for. Could really spiral into a toxic last few games. Fans wont accept defeats against teams at the bottom.

Decent but swap Vardy for Daka swap Mendy for Brunt, let's see what he can do. And if Soyuncu is getting sold, **** him off aswell he's been a train wreck this season so play Amartey.

Everton staying up and Leeds staying up and oil city winning the league would be terrible. It's a sorry state of affairs If we are playing 3 CBs just to try and  defend corners. We miss Ndidi.

Everything to play for the higher we finish the more money we will pick up .

Sound like a Peter Taylor when we went from 5th to 14th in the last 11 games after losing to Wycombe in the FA Cu 2001/02. We were hammered at home by 3 sides fighting relegation and lost10 of those 11 games. Taylor was sacked early the following season after that 0-5 to newly promoted Bolton and a couple more embarrassing defeats.

I don’t think we can say that the players have given up. They put effort in but it’s just so ineffective and toothless since beginning of April. Everton are not great but they’ll be more desperate than us for the result. 

I think we’ll lose but if Brendan gives us that post match garbage again about “we played well in the second half, controlled possession, we’re young and learning, we’re working hard “ bollox, he can go and do one.

Did you look that up in old match day programmes or was that from memory?

Perhaps you got your lad to goggle it for you?

 

Me, I got a memory like a sieve but that can be a blessing, some stuff is just better left in the attic

As in why does Barnes deserve yet another start? Also Ricky P was pretty poor and JJ deserves to start.
