It's no though is it. Have you been to games recently?

Oh yes! Our confidence is fragile, so’s theirs. I genuinely think first team to score will win, more because of the impact going behind will have in the other team than the boost it’d give scorer…

Score first & win. Simples

Pretty much Jose's approach to last Thursday night.

……14th in the league as I write, is that the lowest we have been?

Everton may begin to feel it’s a pretty even match in prospect.

These need a right good hiding, we've not beaten them properly in a while.

Not beaten them at all since 2019. Crikey.

Is there a hangover from Roma (there should be if the players cared enough) but they have to get over it and not dwell.

it’s upto Rogers to get their heads all back in the game. Just like Roma and their desire to win the euro conf cup the narrative around everton fighting to survive is stronger than ours which is it’s been a disappointing season and not much to play for now other than finish strong but is that a strong enough motivator?

we are currently sitting 14th in the table if todays results stay the way they are.

I wonder if we'll be able to create any clear cut scoring chances? Despite lots of possession I can't remember where we have troubled a goal keeper that much.

When was the last time we did that?

We have troubled our own keeper more than anyone else:(

We ain’t going to beat these, if  we can’t put in a shift in our biggest game in years, I ain’t going to perform against these 0.2 away win

I'm worried about this end to the season. We play no one of any note apart from Chelsea and they are pants the the moment. If we keep losing then the fans will turn toxic and could either impact on next season or hound Rodgers out which would be a mistake in my eyes. He's had a mare with injuries this season. I firmly believe that with Fofana, Vardy, Evans, Castagne playing more we would have won more games.

The question here is, which Ronaldo?

The next 3 games are important as there is a lot of money riding on where we finish which could be anywhere from 9th to bordering relegation. I hope we play a strong team tomorrow to hopefully get 3 points and send a positive message to fans and players that might be coming into the club or are thinking about leaving

We have a habit of poor end of season results but we do have a nearly full squad and I don't think the fanbase will accept the relegation form we are in now the European distraction has gone. Of course it is never easy when you are expected to win- although Everton seem favourites for tomorrow reading through this forum and listening to the pundits. Not worried about possession stats we need a result!

Do you reckon we’ll heavily rotate our squad again tomorrow? Surely it can’t be as heavily rotated as the squad against spurs last weekend?

No reason to rotate? Nothing else to play for.

Go out and regain some pride.

It still hurts that we lost our FA cup reign in such a whimper of a manner to Forest.
