Typically (this is how it's generally done in baseball, for example) after you're eliminated you field some semblance of your best team in matches where other teams' fate is directly at stake, and play the kids in games where it's not.  I think the right thing to do is make your best effort to win when something like relegation or CL qualification is on the line.

I want to see Fofana, KDH, Maddison, Barnes and Vardy as much as is reasonable.  The latter 3 should see us create more chances.

 

I would also like to see minutes for a few of the academy prospects.  Hopefully, we make use Daka so he can hit the ground running season.

 

Thursday suggests Amartey has moved ahead of Soyuncu in the pecking order.
