Kasper

Amartey Fofana Soyuncu

Albrighton Mendy KDH Castagne

Iheanacho Daka Maddison

...that team is the reason why Rodgers should not be allowed the rebuild!!!

  After Thursday night, you

would expect him to loosen the reins and allow for a more innovative fist eleven.

Put a younster inside the team to freshen us up, it helps with the concentration level as you have to coach players through games at times. It will keep the senior pros on their toes.

Maddison needs to be played as a 10 anything else is wasted.

...I can see him next season with Piroe playing an inverted #10 role with CDK upfront!!!

The only problem is we will lose our Wingers. This option might save Rodgers some money  though.

Might be contentious but I would sooner see Everton stay up than Burnley or Leeds so completely ambivalent about this game or result. Season is over as far as we are concerned.

Can't wait to see the reaction when we go 1 down from a corner on 7 minutes. I genuinely think someone might run down and give Brendan a slap whilst they all gather around a monitor looking at what small person was marking the tall person

Really  I want City to win every match no matter the circumstances. I don't understand your view especially as each place in the table represents several million. The season is not over.

Could see supporter unrest or even worse if we start poorly and start piddling the ball backwards and sideways in our usual snoozefest way. Would recommend additional pre-match medicine today just in case.

Richarlison with a hat trick of headers, from corners. Brendan blames the tea lady for interrupting a meeting, of how not to concede from corners. Where there isn’t an issue from conceding from corners, he once said.

As long as we play 2 up top and just try and batter them. Nothing to lose now and Rodgers needs to do something to try and get the fans back on side.

Can’t see anything but a loss today. They’ve got so much to play for and will be up for it - can’t see us matching that desire up today.

Lots of possession as usual but with nothing to show for it.

Most already are. Don't know any fans who have turned against him.

Thinking exactly the same. The only way we get anything is if the players are fired up to prove a point for the remaining games.

Looking to next season it is critical to finish strong and carry that over. If we fizzle out, there's a good chance we start next season on a low too.

Everton staying up and Leeds staying up and oil city winning the league would be terrible. It's a sorry state of affairs If we are playing 3 CBs just to try and  defend corners. We miss Ndidi.

You’ve summed our set piece defending up nicely there, “a sorry state of affairs”. Everton are a glorified Burnley, they play direct, win second balls and predominantly will be a threat from set pieces with the likes of Mina, Keane, Holgate, DCL, Richarlison. It would make perfect sense to go 3 at the back today and I think we will. With no more European football I would look to keep Fof & Evans in if they’re fit enough following Thursday’s game.

A lot of height in the Everton team, so no doubt Ricardo and Mendy will be man marking their tallest players . Really need a win today to try and build some momentum up and end the season on a good run.

I've got a horrible feeling it'll be a big win for Everton. Bit like the Newcastle home game last season.

I've got a feeling it's going to be very quiet with intermittent booing and a mass exodus ten minutes before the end.
