I am pleased to inform u all that T. rex may make a return to the family stand  (P block) before next season - if we can get past security again. Unfortunately there is not a sale on in Argos as there was 6 years ago. 2 dinosaurs for £24 - great deal 😂However, Amazon have a wide selection of inflatables.

When we won the league we also got  inflatable footballs, mobile phone and Champaign bottle but unfortunately they never achieved the notoriety of the dinosaur.

Just a bit of fun… particularly because the season hasn’t been a classic… find it a good way to remind ourselves that we still support the best team in the land and no matter how much I moan - and I have moaned this season - that I still support those boys in blue

WYS forever

Take this season as a baseline and improve, try for top 6, but because as mentioned elsewhere, there will be lots who fancy a top 6 push next year.

Top 4? Look at clubs with comparable investment and let’s aim to be the best of them. Then let’s dream about achieving any kind of European qualification or a run at a domestic trophy.

For me success is being the best of the rest.  So 7th I'd class as a good season

Since when did people start to believe we are entitled to European football every season?

Either we have a lot of new fans who don't know our story or older fans have very short memories.

Our recent history is unprecedented and, although pushing for top 4 and winning trophies is fantastic, anyone who believes it is our right is in for a painful reality check at some point.

Our strength used to be our togetherness as fierce underdogs.

....unless you have failed to notice, the football world has shifted and we are no longer the team that has not long come out of League 1!!!

Entitled fans😞 We  probably have one of the most poisonous atmospheres in football at the moment with people ironically cheering every time we clear a corner last night. The title win - great as it was - is the worst thing that’s happened for our fan base. We are Leicester City for crying out loud.

If Rodgers is  still in charge just staying up .Another year off his contract maybe then we can bin him off🤞🤞

Unless he changes he wont see next season out. The world cup break will be his limit.

Who can say now? We need to see who we sell and who we sign.

If we don’t change the squad at all, I think we’d be looking at anything lower than 10th being a big disappointment, And a good cup run again would be nice

What we have here is a situation where we try to steal points off the elite, country-backed top 4 as part of what promises to be a really enjoyable, competitive mini league for Europa places.

I'd like to think that of those teams finishing 5th-10th, we have the potential to push to the top of the pack.

Given the financial gulf between the top teams and the rest, champions league qualification is a 'stretch goal' if fortune favours us. That would be a dream season to me, the best case scenario with a bit of luck.

That aside, a good competitive goal is to win the mini league and push for 5th/6th place, try to cement ourselves as having regular European football in the Europa/Conference.

Leicester should regard itself as a top 10 side with ambitions in Europe, and a domestic trophy along the way would signify a fantastic season.

I’ll tell you exactly what it means.

It means that we have a ‘small club’ mentality, that we shouldn’t criticise any aspect of the organisation, that we are privileged to be in the top flight and that we are lucky to have Brendan as manager.

It’s the usual bollox that’s churned out when we ain’t doing so well.

Winning the FA cup led to too much unjustified expectation about this last season. The eulogies about Rodgers and the players in general are now embarrassing to read. We are a strong team but lack elements that consistently successful teams have. In the end we can't afford those players that can bridge that gap. We are still reliant on Vardy to provide our principal goal threat and Evans to provide stability at the back. If we finish in the top eight next season that to me would be satisfactory and a considerable reduction in goals conceded would be welcome.

Our aim should be European qualification via the league. When you consider how poor we have been at time this season, we could be only 7 points behind West Ham if we win our game in hand.

7th should be a realistic target, coupled with going deep in the FA & League cup.

5th or 6th would be an excellent season with Spurs and Arsenal looking much stronger.

...you are still looking in the wrong places!!!

Surely you have seen the numerous post and YouTube highlights of quality players, who although are not linked to us shows that there are copious talents out there. The prices are within what we can afford and does not require a King's ransome in order to bring them to our club.

If you are choosing to ignore the information (I am sure the club's scouting system don't) then you will have to endure the process with your head in your hands.

Spending big money on players guarantees us nothing, Sancho, Pepe, Sanchez and Tevez to name just a few.

We scout well, you just need to look in the right places.

Don't put Tevez alongside Pepe and Sancho.

Tevez was a superb player who scored 20+ for two consecutive seasons when he first joined Man City.

First success next season is getting the ‘rebuild’ right. Do that and we can look up rather than down, do it wrong and it’s looking down rather than up time!

We are going to go through a transistion stage whether we like it or not with the loss of Youri and other personnel changes. Our downward trajectory needs to be reversed alongside the quality and enjoyment displayed by players and fans alike. If we take this season as a baseline and the previous season as excellence  somewhere in between should be our reasonable target. Personally I would be very happy if we got top eight preferably earning a European place somehow and a decent cup run. A less tangible measure of success would be a cessation of the current negativity surrounding the club and commentators no longer mentioning our vulnerability at corners!

We have spent moderate amounts of money on Praet, Castagne, Soumaré and Daka recently and although they are not bad players by any means ,they have not as yet anyway , substantially improved us. Watching YouTube videos gives you little idea of how a player will perform in the PL. This league is as tough as it gets nowadays and so many of these overseas players wilt under the pressure. The only player to definitely make us better recently is Dewsbury-Hall and he has been with the club 13 years.
