City have been poor this season. Very few memorable performances and a huge amount of frustration when time and time again they concede from set pieces, fail to manage games or simply don,t turn up. Frankly any improvement from the boring pointless possession at the back  Puell type performances we churn out week after week would be an improvement. I’m not so bothered whether we win any silverware just please oh please make me enjoy going to king Power Stadium again and restore some pride.

We really should be aiming to qualify for the Europa if not the champions league. We’ve fallen off the wagon this seAson but we can get back on it!

You seriously think we are one of the best four teams in this league?

On paper - top 8 is realistic.

Per 90 minutes of an actual football spectacle I just want to see something exciting as opposed non-pressing possession based borefest - oh and not conceding from corners every week!

No chance that we get top 4.

Arsenal are improving under Arteta and as Sky say during every match they cover - they’ve started shit housing (or as Sky call it learnt dark arts/tactical nous).

Conte (if he stays) has pedigree and they’ve been better under him.

Throw in the obvious Liverpool/Man City.

Then there will be a “refreshed” United squad under Ten Hag, Newcastle throwing more money at it making it even harder.

We want to disrupt the above but genuinely think top 4 aspirations are irrational and unrealistic.

On the pitch I think success is top 6 even if Robbie Savage thinks we are punching above our weight. Otherwise a top half finish plus a cup run is the minimum requirement.

Success off the pitch will be seeing the new East Stand rising and our status with it.

Man city ; man United; liverpool; Chelsea  fighting for top 4.

Arsenal; Tottenham; west ham; Newcastle and Leicester fighting  for the next 5 places.  So Europa league will be perfect.

BR has said himself that with a fit squad and additions, We can push top 4.. So , to me if we finish outside the CL /EL places, it’s deemed as failure…

Myself I think we may push for EL and finish 7-10th… I just think our mentality along with uncertainty in the transfer market and funds available will hold us back.

the slow possession style frustrates the hell out of me and actually blunts the attacking talent we have on show..

Make or break for BR

Success next season? With our current dire levels of performance we will be fighting relegation. If we play to the standard we know this team is capable of  - top six??

One proviso: if we keep the same keeper and carry on doing whatever we do at set pieces - we're gonna concede those extra 20 goals again and we'll go down.

If we sign a keeper who is brave enough to occasionally leave his line and deal with high balls  -  top six??

(Even if he's not as good a 'shot-stopper' as the great man)

Reduce possession by 20%.

Increase shots on target by 25%.

Decrease goals conceded from set pieces by 80%.

Top 8 and a good couple runs in the cups for me.

I'm surprised how many people are expecting Newcastle to be challenging for Europe next season. Everton and West Ham have been spunking shed loads for the last 5 or 6 years and this last year is the first time either of them have had European football. And the other could be relegated. It's not a given, and we've all seen the defensive limitations Bournemouth had persistently under Howe.

Talk about some of our fans being in fookin denial!

If we keep Brendan then surviving relegation and not having every signing we make be absolutely heinous would be about as successful as can be hoped.

If we get rid and get a top level replacement. Qualify for Europe via league position plus keep hold of and build around Fofana, Justin, Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall, Maddison & Barnes.
