sdb Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Weak, passive, poor on the ball. I've never seen a keeper make himself so small. And his positioning... worst keeper in the prem by a million miles. Iverson simply cannot be worse.

Would we be bottom.of the table with 1 point with Kasper as keeper? Yes. 3
splinterdream Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 He should have gone back further, there was time. He backs off a bit and stops. He should have saved kanes goal, he isn’t very good at all, I don’t want to hate on him as some are on social media, i just find it absurd he’s being played.

Surely the person that we have in goal is an imposter and not the real Danny Ward. An international goalkeeper should be really be Premier League quality. I think he is behind Wayne Hennessy, who is second or third choice at Forest… 1

There’s not much recent evidence for Club or country that he’s a good goalkeeper. Would we have conceded less goals with Kasper as keeper? Yes. With that in mind there’s a good chance we would have more than 1 point if Ward wasn’t in goal. 3
Ric Flair Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 He ought to go down in Premier League folklore as one of, if not the worst goalkeeper to play in the modern era. 1

Has absolutely no awareness of his angles and spatially he seems to get caught in no man's land quite a lot. It’s there for all to see. That picture for the Bentacur goal says it all and it’s been off all season. In fact even for Wales I’ve seen him have these problems. We can’t afford to have him in the team, we’ll get relegated if we do. Got to give Iversen a go. He might not be the answer either but then we know we have to sign someone in January. 1 1

Find it very hard to envisage a scenario where Kasper is conceding more than half the shots he’s facing. For his deficiencies he was a hell of a shot stopper.

splinterdream Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 What should Danny do here? I’m not a goal keeping coach but for me he should contemplate the cross ball to the free player running in unmarked. Faes is running in to close the angle so back off and protect near post, but Danny comes out, he nearly gets something on it but it’s not good keeping imo.

maddog Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 I presume his dad was a professional footballer which is how he got into the game in the first place, on a par with me playing in goal aged 14 and I was terrible.
splinterdream Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 I’m unsure on this one, seems he’s a little too far forward, he knows the shots coming, if he backs off he has more reaction time
squidsworth Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 His positioning is terrible, not just here but most of the time. He also can't communicate either. Just another piece of garbage.
Spiritwalker Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 It’s strange that every man and his dog realised that this guy wasn’t up to it weeks ago but our elite manager knows better.
HankMarvin Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 His save percentage is 42% the worst in the league, next is Edison on 45% 10 more Keepers have faced more shots so far.
splinterdream Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Here’s Brightons 5th, why was he so far to the right and stood behind the wall?
