Sunbury Fox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 This guy is a total joke. Really hope that I never see him in our first team ever again. He's been a bench keeper his whole career until now and it's quite clear why after these 7 games. The new manager's easiest decision will be to drop him

He wanted to move on. He deserved that respect to make that choice. We didn’t have the funds to do anything but I had faith in Danny. He’s been a loyal number two. Defensively, it’s a collective. Danny’s made a couple of good saves tonight.” Ward let him have a go 👀
Buzzell Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 He was never ready to fill Kasper’s shoes. He will always be a decent backup and that’s it. He obviously isn’t up for it. 1

desertfox2 Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 For every 2 shots on target against us with Ward in goal we will concede 1. That's got to be up there with the worst shop stopping stats any keeper has had in the premier league for a very long time. He's not good enough to start at this level.
Tuna Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 His stats are atrocious, genuinely think Smithies couldn't be much worse.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 I defended him early games simply because he's always almost played well internationally. But, although having a shit defence in front of him as somewhat of a mitigation, he doesn't have the necessary presence. His confidence now looks shot and Iversen or Smithies even should be in goal. 1
Walshie is God Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Let's not forget.. its not his fault he's picked in the team

Iversen needs to start, Ward’s confidence is shot and frankly we’ve seen enough in his starts to see he’s not up to it. When’s the last time any keeper in the division was this poor on a consistent basis? De Gea had a rough spell I remember but not as bad as this. I realise this sounds illogical and harsh, but I already thought he wasn't up to it even before seeing him play. I didn't need to see him sitting 5 or 6 a match to realise. He just doesn't look like an elite level performance sportsperson.
cropstonfox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Worse than Colin mackleworth. The original training reserve goalkeeper 1
FoxesWalk Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 It’s literally a more than 50% chance that you score if you have a shot on target with him in goal. He’s made of smoke.
Blue-fox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Whilst he may not be up to it. Let’s just reflect on the wet farts in front of him unable to put in a block/tackle. He’s been massively exposed by the honking defence, when ideally he could have been eased in better into being a number one had we had a couple of decent defenders. 3

lgfualol Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Doesn't inspire any confidence, would struggle in the u23s. Iversen time.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 I thought he'd earned a shot at it, given we weren't getting a replacement in. Is all too clear he's out of his depth and confidence is shot to bits. Iversen surely has to be the starter in the next game. He can't be any worse. 1
Vestan Pance Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 I'd just like to cheer everyone by reminding that BR paid £12.5m for him. 1

Clever Fox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 If ward was smart he'd pull a muscle before the next game and cry off.
