He could do with putting some chub back on if anything, he looks like a youth team player and has the presence of one.

The way the defenders shout back at him and argue in game shows he has no respect and cannot command. Iverson should 100% be given the chance. I only worry that our current system and defensive issues are a much bigger problem as a whole. Therefore when Iverson does come in, it will knock his confidence as we will still be losing, just maybe not by a 3+ goal difference thats the difference btw ward n hennessey in terms of commanding and leadership

Now Ward showed why Hennessey starts ahead of him again.

We are back to the Championship days of shit keepers, he's not good enough by a country mile. again, if he was that good, Rob Page would not have dropped him for Hennessey in the countrie’s most important match ever, simply becoz he missed the Playoff Semis (3 months before vs Ukraine) due to injury and that Hennessey did nothing wrong— you would use your best players in the most important match, and Ward has returned to training a long time ago, while Hennessey has only played like 2 matches for Burnley that season. Hennessey proved him right by giving a stunning, world class display and single handedly sent Wales to the WC. There’s no way Ward will start in the WC after that. If he shines in his club he may stand a chance—- instead, he squandered his chance and was calamitous in every match he started for the Foxes😅😅😅 Edited 21 September 2022 by francis39
AyewJoking Posted 22 September 2022 Posted 22 September 2022 Ward not good enough but Brendan is just being a **** cos we had no money to replace Schmeichel properly so he just uses Ward and refuses to drop him just to spite everyone.
