I fully agree but Tielemans isn’t the same player without Ndidi. Having a fully fit Ndidi would mean Tielemans being able to focus more on creative play rather than defensive duties, especially with KDH in the mix. 3

Him and Tielemans partnership has been crucial in past seasons and they play well together so it will be even more crucial that they both find their form again. 1

True say but the whole team was playing shite also and our defence was non-existent. Tielemans hasn’t just turned into a bad player overnight. There’s no doubt that he plays much better when Ndidi is sitting next to him. Like I said earlier we have to hope that the both of them get back to their best as soon as. 1
Bptiger Posted 27 June 2022 Posted 27 June 2022 I think the whole problem is easily fixed , what we need is 1-2 more midfielders so we don’t run the players into the ground like we have done over the last three years . So here’s what I would like to see ndidi , and another like him , or keep mendy YOURI , KDH, ERIKSEN that gives us a real balance Kasper Little Wes Evans. Cags Ndidi eriksen. YOURI. KDH Maddison. Vardy. Barnes 3

So much ink spilled on what seems like a fantasy to me. But on the odd chance Eriksen would seriously consider it, I don’t think game time would be a concern. He walks in the door as arguably your best player (and I’m not even sure about the “arguably”).

majaco Posted 28 June 2022 Posted 28 June 2022 Eriksen is a top player. It would be great to see him at Leiecester. But there are problems with him.coming. Rodgers has talked about a refresh but we have more than 10 outfield players who are more than capable. We have few midweek games so we won't t need to rotate as much. Our glaring weaknesses are rw and ability to defend set pieces. Eriksen would solve neitherof these (he might improve our attacking set pieces with his delivery. Rodgers, I think, wants to bring in first teamers. It is hard to get in the first team; only Fofana and KDH have broken through on a regular basis in the last two season. It may make more sense to bring in younger players but there have been murmurings about only.signing squad players recently. Recruitment-wise, there are dilemmas. Rodgers was probably unwise to make his refresh comments. We are probably only two or three players off an excellent squad. Eriksen would add quality but ...
