It just hasn't been their day

Never a truer word. We were far the better side. Deserved all three points, not just a draw. A cruel, cruel loss.

But that was in all seriousness the best I've seen us play. So positive, so creative; the passing and movement beyond anything we've done before. Play like this from here on in and we'll get the points we need.

Yes. Yes they will.

If they play like that from here on, they will certainly get points against the teams they need to get points against.

...this result will be what they will take with them into the rest of the season!!!

They could easily have won this game, Flint missing 2 great opportunities, it is strange with her physique she can so easily be bullied. We know she is an intelligent player but never brings that knowledge to the team and plods away upfront. Someone must have had a word at half time as she was not going to give up the ball and used her size and knowledge came to the fore. I always had the thought that West Ham would be more composed if they got a chance.

Very good performance today, only thing missing was goals. This performance was very much a carry over of the last game where we went on the front foot and looked so much better at the end of the Arsenal game. I suggested at the time that we needed to play a more high tempo game, we did that, but felt we needed to bring subs on earlier as you saw players started to give up the chase when running back.

I am not going to worry about the rest of the season, we carry this attitude forward and the points will come.

...no mention so far of the ball played through for Flint's first opportunity!!!

Absolutely inch perfect, I can't recall who played it, but it deserved a goal, just for the pass itself.

Thought that should have been a penalty as it looked to me like she was tripped as she was going through. Probably would have missed it anyway.

.. I  had the feeling she was looking to go down instead of coming across the defender to prevent the challenge,  she was not convincing in that situation!!!

And there you have it. The obligatory last minute goal. Again.

The issue is goal scoring, playing well, strikers not pulling it off, then leads to pressure at the back to at least hold on to scraps.

We need to get scoring 2+ goals a game, which the board is to blame for with lack of investment.

Keep working, girls
During the week, LCFC Women's Academy were beaten 6-4 by Tottenham - Denny Draper (2), Monique Robinson & Mia Malone all found the net on a busy afternoon

having 3 strikers all rehabbing ACL's at the same time really doesn't help, Cain at least seems close to a return

I wish whomever does their socials would list the players in position, good to see Hannah Cain on the bench but no Ashleigh Plumptre at all

I wonder how we'll get on today then? :)

Given this is equivalent to PSG playing Lincoln City I wouldn’t be banking your w/end in it that’s for sure.

Hoping they can just keep the score down
