We’ll probably send him on a season long loan to one of the championship favorites with an obligation to buy if they get promoted. With us paying half of his wages. I reckon that’s the best we can hope for.

He was a regular starter in the prem and for his country for years before he joined us

Can we send him back to Southampton or won’t he get in their squad either?

Very, very unlikely that a championship club will pay £35 k a week . He would say no anyway ,its the PL or he stays.

He may never leave, he will turn up to training do nothing and walk away with his fat pay cheque. He won’t even sit in the bench. Although after big dans performance yesterday might as well try him again, can’t get any worst.

We ( presumably Rodgers) bought him. He is a decent cb if played in a system which suits his strengths, and that is not high line type stuff. Who can blame him for sticking with a crazy contract ? We gave him it, so the blame has to come down to...you know who

€5 and some baklava from a Turkish side I reckon

If they throw in some Turkish delight and a couple of rugs I'm happy with that quite honestly.

If he's been told he's not going to feature unless we have the injuries of last season then what is he playing at in a World Cup year, surely they will only pick players that are playing?

Yep - let’s offer £10m and Vestergaard or £7m and no Vestergaard

That should do it... they can use the extra 3mil to.pay his wages!

Well we could lose fofana and Evans could be injured. He's then in the squad and possibly starting.

You would stick around if only to relegate the club dicking you around.
