Fair to say he won’t get a contract extension on £80,000 or whatever silly money he’s on - his agent played a blinder on that one.

There would be if they could afford his pay. There might be a deal to be done if we pay up his contract..That would cost us about £6 million but we could get £10 million for him. However he may not have given up hope of forcing himself into the team , somebody should ask him.

I don't think he's ever let us down and made 20 appearances in 19/20 when we finished 5th. He can be reckless but I think he would be an asset for any promoted side or lower PL team. 3

Rodgers has said he prefers operating with a smaller squad, he is on massive wages in terms of reflection of importance to our squad. Is Brunt not just as good but on a 5th of his wages?? 1
