Single line mentioning Forest are interested in Hamza

Forest, meanwhile, are keen on Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury as well as Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

The guy genuinely could've had a decent career up until now if he stuck to being a RB but he for some reason insists on being a CM

If nothing else Hamza can boast he won  a FA cup winners medal with us . More than Harry Kane has won or ever likely too.:D

At least Everton might want to buy him rather than loan him. Although they're skint.

Yet somehow they manage to offer Tarkowski 120k a week. We wouldn't want huge money for him so I'm sure they could manage it and clearly matching or improving his wages won't be a problem.

They're likely getting ahead of themselves with regards to selling Richarlison and possibly DCL.  . They were reportedly going to need to sell at least one of them to balance the books.

Although maybe they also think Kenyon is bringing new investment.

Best of luck to Hamza.

Highly thought of when he broke through, however he’s never kicked on.

I agree with the best of luck 100%

Maybe more of a combination of 1: We've kicked on faster as a team in the last few years and the level has gone up faster and further than he can consistently meet. 2: He's had limited opportunities to play and therefore improve his game. Doesn't make him a bad player or one who there maybe cause to disrespect (not that you were)

He’s done a half decent job when called upon in fairness. He’s hitting his mid 20’s and the emergence of N’Didi hasn’t helped him personally. He’s more than capable of playing in the Premier League and he’ll still have a solid career.

He has definitely had a big player in N’Didi (rightfully) ahead of him.

I don’t think Hamza/BR know what Hamza is best at though - he has a great engine on him, has that physicality that Rodgers mentions (even if when first coming through a bit wreckless) but he simply doesn’t have enough football intelligence to play DM for a top Prem side and sadly not good enough on the ball.

Good luck Hamza!!

Seriously, I wouldn't sell that red filth any player that could benefit them. I like Hamza. I think he's been underutilised. (I'm.prepared for mockery here as I'm about to question the holy foxestalk cow of kdh, but i genuinely think Hamza has more attributes suited to the PL than kdh. Not least pace)....even that game at centre half ffs against Liverpool he was outstanding.

He'd make that filth significantly better than what they akready are (not hard, I know)

They either pay triple the going rate, have bertrand or fck off.

I’m not knocking your opinion as it’s what footie is about.

But what attributes does Hamza have over KDH mate?

They are different positionally, so I'm comparing apples and oranges. But in their respective positions, I think Hamza is higher up the table.

He's quicker. He's gotta a better shot (or at least choose his options better, I cant get over those multiple.feeble efforts from.kdh at roma). He's tackling is excellent. His recovery runs are better. He's neat and tidy albeit unspectacular in possession. I think positionally he's better disciplined.

Edit; I also think it's underrated how Hamza is occasionally called on last minute yet manages to perform. Two games spring to mind were Fulham.away last season after virtually zero league minutes and Liverpool home this. Both times near.motm performances out of the cold

Dont get me wrong, there isn't much in it. But kdh tends to get near hero worship and Hamza gets slaughtered for a simple sloppy pass (which he is prone to) .....I'd rate both all in about the 7m - 10m mark. 30m to the red filth tho.

He’ll make a decent career for himself in The Championship.

Not good enough on the ball for the Premier League and he’s also had a few incidents that don’t exactly scream dedication to being a top professional: the time him and Chilwell got dropped for the Burnley away game for missing/being late to training, the lockdown party at Perez’s house and the after-party following our tanking at Forest in the cup.

Fair play mate, that's a brave post. Hamza is a league one/two footballer trapped in a Premier league footballers body. You've basically described Kante in your post lol I think you've started on the sherberts early, or your hatred of Forest has messed with your wiring :D

Yes but nothing to hang on his wall at home or even polish. Unless he's kept his shirt when he played for us, and has it proudly mounted on his Livingroom wall complete with spot light to pretend he won the Premier league and F.A cup with us?

I think that Kane will feel happy enough with £50 million or so in the bank and won't suffer the indignity of having to flog his medals on EBay like so many do. Memories are short in football . Who can name the Blackburn team that won the PL in its entirety. Medals are nice, money trumps it every time . Ask Mbappe.
