What do we reckon last day TV picks now we are 1 game off?

 

Leeds vs Tottenham nailed on.

Everton vs Bournemouth likely.

Leicester vs West Ham and Villa vs Brighton outside chances.

 

Not sure if they only put 2 on or if they can show 3.

Haven't they put all matches on in the past. If not on their main channels, then on the red button?

They will focus on the relegation battle in my opinion.

I think they will show the Everton and Leeds games.

Surely the Main Match will be Leeds - Tottenham - implications at both ends with Spurs still aiming for Europa

then

Everton - Bournemouth

Leicester - West Ham

Brighton - Villa (Battle for Europe)

 

That covers all teams that have anything to play for (except Brentford who could in theory qualify for Europe if they beat Man City and Villa & Tottenham fail to win)

Our game won't be one of the main ones if there's nothing riding on it - Newcastle already have CL and we'd already be relegated.

 

It'll most likely be Leeds & Everton games, and Villa/Brighton, especially if Brighton beat Man City on Weds.

We can't be relegated before the final day??

 

Lose to Newcastle and we are still 3 points behind Everton with a better goal difference

A lot depends on how many goals Newcastle tonk us by. Our GD advantage could be all but eliminated if we get battered.

Our goal difference will be fine after a 1-2 win.

We could take another PL record and lose 10-0, we still would not be relegated. We would go into the final game knowing that if we win and Everton lose with a 4 goal swing, (i.e 2 x 2-0's) and Leeds failing to win would see us safe - it would make it a lot harder, but we still go into the final game with something to play for

All 3 will be on and they'll show the goals as they go in elsewhere and then the reaction from the crowd. Just got to make sure we somehow win v Newcastle so we have it in our own hands!

With the title and "RACE FOR FOURTH!" done they'll have total focus on the 3 at the bottom. Europa quals will barely be mentioned. SS Main will have Everton, SS Prem will have Leeds and SS Football will be us, to get us used to that channel next season 😁

 

If Everton had kept DCL fit, they wouldn't even have a relegation "battle".

If we somehow won tomorrow we’ll be the main game on Sunday as we could be celebrating/agonising plus it’s in our hands. Everton would be the 2nd game as they’d be the most likely beneficiary if we slip up.

 

We lose tomorrow no one will care about us and it’ll just be about Leeds and Everton unless something extraordinary happens with us where they switch late on.

Everton will be the ones staying up.

They always find a way.

Realistically they only need a draw at home to Bournemouth unless Leeds beat spurs by 4
