I imagine 1 of the reasons of him not wanting to was down to him being considered more of a squad player, when we let him go we weren’t really running a formation that suited him either but now with the 3 in the middle and the potential of Youri being off things might have changed

Unfortunately for him he had a very good 3 in front of him when Maddison, Wilf and Youri are on form.

my take from that period is basically the belgium lads love playing together!

 

We are much more controlled with this 11 and I think that comes down to youri orchestrating…. we are going to miss him so much. 

 

Praet has looked great and those forward runs are something we don’t have in the squad. There would be real balance to him playing alongside KDH.
