Chelsea fans on their forum reckon he just isn't good enough and would rather he he be sold than a loan deal, read that they reckon he's not improved since he's been there ...... I'd rather fans be gutted if a player leaves but they all want him gone

Is it really as simple as "he's not good enough for Chelsea so he won't be good enough for us"?? They're on another level to us. Granted we aspire to reach their level and I'm not that arsed about signing him, but we could do much worse.

....for the money he will cost, we could pick up better from South America!!!

We all appreciate that there may be a settling period but that is a chance worth taking

It's apples and Oranges though isn't it as while they are both great at judging talent they have a bigger pool in which to search due to the differences in the leagues. Look at Sancho for example couldn't get a look in at city, world beater at Dortmund and can't quite seem to do it yet at Man Utd. Plenty of players who look great in Germany struggle here where different attributes are needed.

Not to nitpick but I believe Sancho left City for more gametime before he got near the first team as he knew City were stockpiling players.   Foden was the only player that broke through in recent seasons.
